Help Support BearcatTalk:

Not gonna make a prediction, don't wanna jinx us. This would really help us get a higher seed. Even though it isn't, hope they treat it as a must win.

Gaines comes off the bench and scores 4 points, grabs 6 rebounds, blocks 3 shots and puts a ft thu the backboard delaying the game and breaking louisvilles momentum, allow UC to regroup and come back and win on a Cashmere Wright floater in the lane with no time remaining. The win catapults the Bearcats to new heights and they win the BEast tournament and advance to the sweet 16 for the second straight season.....Of course I jest...lol

You must be trying to steal BearcatMick's thunder :D

UL 70
UC 55

I think UL builds a 15 point lead by half and maintains it the rest of the way. Sadly, they are better than us in just about ever facet right now.

Expect the worst, but hope for the best.

Don't sound like ESPN is giving my Cats much of a chance. One thing I know is it is Louisville and UC will have no problem getting up for them. Cronin is 4-4 against Pitino so it isn't hopeless by any stretch. If UC can hit some shots they have a chance. Cash has to score for UC to win and we need somebody like Nyarsuk, Thomas or Sanders to give us points off the bench.

I gotta say I am an optimist, based on this game's history... I would have said the same thing about the blow out at ND.. I think we take this one in regulation, by one point.. Only if we can keep the game in the low 50s. If it hits the 70s we are screwed... Go cats!

Without Jackson (any word on him?), I have a feeling Behanan has a monster night. Mbodj and Nyarsuk don't have the strength to stop him. Going to be a tough game, but UC may be able to pull off the upset. I'm not overly confident, but I definitely think the -10.5 spread is way too high. In the end, I see a 5 or 6 point game.

Thought I heard Cronin is 4-5 against Pitino. Are you possibly not counting last year's BE Championship? Regardless, Cronin seems to have his teams ready against his former coaches and I expect nothing less tonight.

I'd rather have Rubles on Behanan than Jackson anyway. Jackson would be good for fouls, I guess.

I think they need the combo of Rubles and Jackson to keep Behanan in check. When Rubles is out of the game, someone is going to have to step up on D. I foresee Behanan pushing Mbodj and Nyarsuk around at will. He's much too physical for either one of them.

Is Jackson going to play against louisville?

Someone said on the way out of the shoe on Saturday they heard on the radio that Jackson would not be available for tonight's game. So take that for what it's worth!

Mick's teams have generally played well again UL and I know we always seems to have a knack for winning these types of games but I just don't see it tonight.

There is not way we can stop Behannan and Djeng w/out running a zone in which case we open it up for their guards. I just don't see how we match up with this team but crazier things have happened.

I think UL wins going away....

UL - 67
UC - 52

It wouldnt hurt my feelings if Jackson doesnt suit up tonight. This team has been struggling mightily at scoring the basketball and Jackson isnt exacly an offensive guru.

Although he plays excellent defense and has great energy he's only good for a couple offensive rebound put backs.

Im very interested to see how Sanders performs tonight. No way we beat UConn without his 9 pts off the bench. And for that matter Nyarsuk's 6 pts 6 boards (5 offensive)

In my honest opinion, if Jackson played against UCONN, I think we would have lost that game.

His minutes would have taken away form Sanders' and Big Dave's.

OT: Gonzaga became the 5th team outside the power 6 to be ranked #1 in the last 20 years. It just occurred to me that we are one of those 5 teams.

I have never responded to the crap you post on here, but I think it is the time. I will ask two questions.... what in god's name makes you think that they will be overconfident? and if they are overconfident, why does that mean we will win by 13?
They are very vulnerable when overconfident as evidenced by their loss to a bad nova team. Honestly uc matches up well with them aside from dieng and behanon

As pumped up as ive been for a cats game as Ive been since the xavier game, The bearcat drinking game is in effect tonight, 1 second of drinking per points they score, tonight i'm drinking captains :D

I think UL is going to come out a bit flat for an 8-8 team after just winning at the Carrier Dome. I see it being a tight game for 25-30 minutes before UL wakes up and wins by 8.

UL looks very much alive and alert. Playing at their pace and all we do is shoot 4 straight 3 pointers and miss. Oh and we don't box out and let the tards rebound all over us. UC looks flat and sloppy.
