When they announce the staters at each position Guyn was the starting pg not who gets the first play so if you didn't listen to the announcement for the starters that's your fault but they said guyn started at pg.

You have to be one of the biggest morons who have ever posted on this site, and that's saying a lot. Did you know that when they announced the starting lineup last night, Gary Clark was announced as a guard. What the public address announcer says has no bearing on the position a player assumes on the court. Try coming to FTA and actually watching a game, rather than spending your evenings memorizing the bearcats football and basketball rosters. Your parents would like to get you out of their basement every now and then.

When they announce the starters they said Guyn was the 1 pg and Caupain at the 2 Thomas at the 3 clark at the 4 Ellis at the 5.

No they do not. They said "At guard a 6"1, senior from Wherever Kentucky, Gelawn Guyn"

I just listened to it. Its such a dumb argument you are making.

Hey thank you for just proving my point so maybe they messed up on Giyn and Caupain like they did Clark, that just proves I am right and I was there. Thank you

I guess the argument I am making is a little technical but I am right I never once said in this convo did Guyn play the pg I said he was named the starting pg. So in other words I guess we are both right.

A lot of us were there. Guyn did not play point guard, was not announced as a point guard, and was not misinterpreted as a point guard. He played the 2 for 95% of his time in the game. As all of us intelligent people have confirmed END. OF. STORY.

If you were actually there and are still arguing that Guyn was the point guard, you are eligible for a handicap placard as you are blind. Then again, you already have one for being stupid.

No one is arguing Guyn was the pg go back and reread the last 10 pages then get back in the convo.

Bcatboy this constant agitation needs dialed back. The fact is if you watched the game Guyn was at the two with a limited few possessions. Period.

So you are arguing that he started at the point guard but did not play point guard? Even though he wasnt annouced as the point guard, did not set up as the point guard, and played the two almost exclusively. Dude come on you have to realize how stupid you are being.

I was arguing he was announced as the pg not that he played pg!

For the sake of accuracy, Ge did play point for a little over 5 minutes at the end of the 1st half. During that stretch he had the three FTs off the fouled triple from the left wing and his made 3 from the right wing. Also had his only assist in that stretch. That was the stretch I was thinking was early in the 2nd half. I don't think he played the 1 the rest of the game...

Sorry Jeff, just cant stand crap like that. Just factually incorrect BS he continues to spew. I wont mention anything more about this.

I agree. Also I can't stand his constant negatively towards UC players, in this case specifically KJ. Kevin had a great Freshman year and played huge roles in certain games. He is only going into his sophomore year and will continue to get better. I love his speed, quickness, and court presence. Stop ruining this thread with your unjust negativity.

I have NEVER, EVER heard a public address announcer introduce a player as a point guard or a shooting guard or a small forward or a stretch forward or a power forward. Just a guard, forward, or center. That's at ANY game, college or Pro. Educate us. When have you heard a player being announced as a 'point guard'?
