came out horses mouth. Anytime he gets chance to talk he says #1 thing he needs work on is his attitude. Talks about his attitude EVERYDAY on twitter.

Then that is somebody I want, because clearly he realizes it is an issue and he is trying to work on it if he is talking about it a lot. Mick and co. believe he has matured, so I will differ judgement to them since they know more than all of us combined.

I'll take him too just ain't looking for him to be my locker room leader

It is crazy how much many of you are overlooking Kevin Johnson. The coaching staff thinks he is going to be the leading scorer on the team next year.

If we go into next year with the roster as is, I'm putting my money on KJ to score the most and possibly be the only one to average double figures.

Either him or Troy. You can really add to the point total by knocking down a lot of FT's late in games.

Shaq will lead the team in scoring. It's time. I don't have any rational reason -- I just want to believe it.
I believe Shaq will lead team in scoring also. Would've scored double figures this year if Troy played majority of minutes to push ball up court. Our players have MAJOR problem with passing to outlet player on breakouts.

Troy has no effect on the number of minutes Shaq plays. You continue to prove your ignorance.

Ain't what I said at all smart guy. Guyn plays TC position and who I was relating that too. Shows who's in the ignorance.

Shaq doesn't have the attitude and mindset to be an alpha or go to guy. Consistency is a massive issue with him in term of his mental approach and aggressiveness. Its just not in everyone. If he leads the team in scoring it will be because other guys haven't progressed as expected.

Im always on the fence when I think about Shaq. The ability is clearly there. He just needs to somehow find a way to channel that potential into consistent production. It's his 4th year in the program. I wasnt exactly convinced when Mick said Justin had completely changed his game coming into last season. That assertion turned out to be true. If Shaq can make the quantum leap JJ did there could be some exciting results out of him. Of course that is a very big if but I think it is possible.

name 1 returning player who has been more consistent than Shaq? He hasn't been consistent I agree but neither has nobody on our team. Outside of Vaughn Yancy Lance SK none of Mick players have been consistent or shown improvement until Jr/sr years. Our underclassmen never seem to sync with our upperclassman for everybody to be comfortable on court. Mick pulling certain players instantly for making mistakes don't help with consistency either.

Were depending on a bunch of BIG IFs to get back in tournament. Out of a full squad of players who can you honestly guarantee to be money next year. Mick endorses a particular every year and the player he endorsed this year want out. I believe were going to be better than thus year but it comes with big ifs.

that is not what i am arguing. i am saying he doesn't have that mentality. you are arguing the physical results, i am arguing the mentality. if you are arguing "jr/sr years" though- he just finished his 3rd year in the program. he already is the age you are advocating for as his excuse.

LOL I totally understood what your saying. I think he does in my opinion he be visibly disgusted when he gets taken out game or don't get ball. Once again name 1 player who has been more consistent than Shaq?

I love shaq but shaq and consistent do not belong in the same sentence. He was a starter averaging 22 minutes a game and came up scoreless 4 times. only averaged 6.8 pts a 2.8 rebounds.

He had multiple 10-15 pt games followed by 0s and 2s. That is not consistent .

You could easily argue TC and JS were just as "consistent"

Shaq has been VERY INCONSISTENT in 2yrs. Still name 1 player out of 12 which has been not just as consistent than him but MORE consistent.
