Official Postseason Thread (Non UC)

The BE was going to have a down year this go-round. The one thing that surprised me was that the 'smaller guys' (UC included) didn't step up and do more in conference.
Hell, UNC won the NC last year and this year is struggling mightily. It's hard to stay at the top every year with guys leaving for the pros.

N. Iowa just beat Kansas.

The brackets are taking a severe beating. Be nice to have some of those highly ranked (shooters) recruits from N Iowa on our team. But I digress.

X was getting schooled by Kansas St. I've been on here for 10 min or so, but it was getting ugly when I left. Gotta go back and catch up what I've missed. Thank God for the pause button.

Comeback. It's been like two separate games.

I called out on my own board for saying that K-State didn't play well. If Clemente and Pullen hadn't been cold before overtime and the big guys hadn't been in foul trouble, K-State would have run away with that game. I've seen them play many times this season. That was not their best game.

Shows how good guard play can take you pretty far into the tourney. I don't see Kstate going much farther, but their team has done pretty well for going through serious coaching changes.

Everyone wants to focus on the guard play in that game (and deservedly so) but the difference was Curtis Kelly absolutley dominating Jason Love.

What are you talking about... it's going to be a WVU/K-State national Championship. :D

I need Butler to win, as the rest of the teams in the tourney are hard to root for. I can't believe I'm thinking of rooting for WV. That would be a first.

Against Kentucky, that's an incredibly easy decision. Call me a 'Neer for the night. :D

Ralph,

What do you think of Huggins now? You rip on him all the time, now give him the credit he deserves.

You got your wish sir.

Nice to see the little guys win once in awhile. Love to have Hayward on UC's team. That kid is one smart player.

Yeah, but it still goes against every inate sense I have of despising their unclassy fans (which I unfortunately have dealt with more than once).

Good win for Huggs, and great win for Butler.

Since I'm not wanted here... It is awfully tempting to become a MVU fan right about now! :D Right Ralph?

Credit for what? Kentucky lost the game with poor shooting WVU did not win it. 4 out of 32 from the 3 line, most open looks, 55% from the foul line.
