My thoughts exactly.
Kentucky was 0 for first 20 3fg, and ended up 4-32 from beyond the arc. Match that with the Cornell game of 2-16 and KY is a dismal 6-48 for the last two games.
That's 12.5 percent folks. Why did they opt to shoot from behind the arc and not drive inside? The WV defense was good but it looked to me like they settled at times. Big mistake..and that's why I'd rather have smart guards than an 'athletic one' every time. Of course, both would be nice.

I have a more valid point.
Correct me if im wrong, but if a team struggles at shooting 3's, wouldn't you, take away their ability to drive and make them shoot the 3? Also, it's not like its something new for Kentucky, they ranked 200th in the nation in 3 point percentage, and 233rd in the nation in free throw percentage.
Anybody watching the game could tell that West Virginia's objective on defense was to take away the dribble drive, and make Kentucky shoot 3 pointers. I give that credit to coaching.
I can't understand why so much hatred towards Huggins. The man built a program, and never used UC as a stepping stone (which he could have several times). It upsets me as a lifetime fan and I think those who disrespect Huggins can not be considered true fans of the PROGRAM! and the program is what it is all about.
I am sick of what you say. Never anything good about Huggins, the man that built UC into a powerhouse. What is your deal? Did he not sign an autograph for you or something?
When West Virgina dominated Kentucky you gave him no credit saying Kentucky just played bad, but when they lose you blame it all on Huggins. It is really tiring reading what you say and frankly it pis*es me off. I think we should go back to the old days, when "if you dont have anything nice to say, don't say it at all!"
Huggins will finish his career as one of the best coaches of all time. Give the man the respect he deserves. Frankly, you should not even be posting about him. He's not the coach at UC, and you dont resepect him, so don't post about him.
I give WV/Huggins credit for making it to the final four. They, like Butler (probably) are overmatched by a Duke team that does everything right. Butler is going to have a tough time as Duke is similar to them, only they are bigger, faster, deeper.
