OT NCAA Basketball discussion

Pitt lost at home to Florida State. I don't think they should make the NCAA tournament but the bubble is sooo weak that they will get in regardless...
 
Anybody catch the last few seconds of the first half of the Xavier/St. Johns game?

Semaj Christian came down with a rebound in front of the X bench when a St. John's player went for the tie up Semaj threw a cheap shot and suddenly the X bench came onto the court.

The ref blew the whistle and called a technical foul. Just don't know who he called it on yet. St. John's players had to wait for Xavier's bench to clear so they could proceed to their locker room.

Anybody surprised?

Nope. They are led by the two biggest punks/scum bags there are in Mack and Father Graham. Never once has Xavier ever displayed any ounce of class on the court.
 
Speaking of that game. I watched about 2 min of it and thats about all I could tolerate. Just an ugly boring game. I do like seeing Stainbrook run the floor. That gives me a little laugh.
 
They shouldn't get in there resume is awful, take out cinci and that St. John's win is their best and St. John's isn't good. Not to mention losses to USC and seton hall to name a few. They are lucky the bubble is awful, I still think they may not make it tho. Imagine where they would be with out that upset in December, possibly on the NIT bubble
 
How about the fact that God's gift only got 6 minutes in that game. Think he might be kicking himself in the butt consideribng the minutes he could have earned here.

While the Big East isn't as good of a league to the eye, this shows how the numbers feel about the conference. With all the top recruits the league is bringing in, I think it is trending in the correct direction as a consistent top 4 or 5 league. While the American is probably trending the other way after losing Louisville...

The Big East is also losing McDermott and Creighton will likely take a hit next year. SMU OTOH is getting one of the top recruits in the nation. American losing SK, Russ Smith/Louisville and possibly Napier hurts a lot.

Napier is a senior so he is gone. The Big East also has 6 schools with top 30 recruiting classes for next year...

12. Seton Hall
16. Xavier
20. Marquette
21. Providence
29. Villanova

American has...

32. UConn
36. Cincinnati
38. Memphis

Father Graham is a class act, but by the way why are we worried about X on a UC board. Don't come down to their fan's level.

jeff would much rather play a team not playing well as opposed to a team that is playing well. If we lose to UCONN it won't be because they lost two in a row. It will be because we didn't play well.

Father Graham is scum. Why? He supports one of the biggest scum bags in Chris Mack. Question it again and I will say the word scum a lot more. :)
