I have a feeling heads are going to roll in Indy this summer. Bird is the ultimate competitor and I can't imagine how much it pained him to watch the Pacers sleepwalk through the 2nd half the season and playoffs. I expect major roster changes and possibly a coaching change this offseason.

I think you have to try to trade Hibbert. Minnesota and/or Sacramento would probably be interested. Both of those teams have too much depth in the backcourt but not sure if any are good enough to be a starting PG on an elite team. I think you try the same with George Hill, San Antonio loves him so maybe they could try to send him back there. He clearly isn't a top flight starting NBA guard. If they aren't careful, the Pacers will likely fall to the mid of the pack in the East.

I think they were overrated all along. Coming into the playoffs there were 9 teams that would be favored against them in a 7 game series (Heat+all 8 western teams). The Eastern Conference was just that bad this season.

I like vogel just couldn't believe bird sat back and watched this VETERAN team unravel like this. No way you trade Granger if your not going to play Turner when it counts.

It was VERY PAINFUL watching Hill nonchalent play in playoffs and big game Watson was TOTALLY SCARED against the Heat. I think Kendall Marshall a be perfect for them.

Also, kind of funny they have him going to Indiana.

I'd be such a huge Indiana fan if they resigned Stephenson and drafted SK.

For those here that intensely follow the NBA, what do you think the odds are Stephenson comes back? I like to root for Indy since they're the most local, but part of why I root for them is to see Stephenson succeed, and to spread the Bearcat name.

Hoopsrumors names the Bulls and Hornets as possible spots. Seems to be all over the place for what kind of contract.

I lived in Indiana for the past three years before recently moving back home, so I've been following the Pacers pretty closely. I, and pretty much everyone in Indiana, thinks he is likely gone. The Pacers just don't have the cash to compete with the eight figure salary he could claim this off season. I really hope he stays because it's been fun watching the former Bearcat develop into a really solid player, especially for the closest NBA team to Cincinnati. Unfortunately, I just don't see it happening. If SK went to Indiana and Lance stayed, that would be a lot of fun.

im a huge nba guy, and follow the pacers very closley because of Stevenson, i went to game two against the heat when lance went off for the first three quarters. However lance is a free agent and is becoming a big named player and wants to be payed like one. George Hill makes 10 million a year, lance believes he is worth more than that and probably wants like 12 million. I dont know if indiana can give him 12 but bird wont just let him walk i see them offering around 8 million a year. Bird and vogel love lance and will make a strong pitch to him, but do his team mates love him like they should? If his teammates have problems with him he should leave other teams want him and he deserves the money

on another note this is not just me being an xu hater and uc homer, but wow xu's non conference schedule this year is looking awful. Outside of uc there is no big game.

With LeBron James cramping up tonight due to the heat...cue the Lance Stephenson blowing in his ear to cool him down jokes....

no way if that gym wasnt 90+ degrees and lebron doesnt cramp i think they may have won last night. He's to good to beat four times right now. i got heat in 6 or7

Which one? 6 or 7? Spurs are champs, no way they lose 2 years in a row. If they win the 2 home games (3 and 5) and 1 of 2 in Miami they got it in 5.
