The picture looks sweet with the huge cat eyes in the ceiling. Seems it is more than just a new locker room. There will be new video rooms and lounges as well. My only question is since the new locker room is across the court and down a flight of stairs will they utilize the old locker room or part of it at least for an in-game locker room/medical room in case a player has to run really quickly to get taped up or looked at or even to go to the bathroom.

Cronin says when this is done our facilities will be as good as or better than our competition. I know fans grumble about 5/3rd and some of it justifiably so, but I think it's important to remember that players and recruits don't go to the upper deck or the concession stands or wait in line for bathrooms. They see the court and the locker rooms. This is a much needed upgrade that can spare the huge expense of a new arena for the short-term.

I think I read they will use that space for the Women's Volleyball locker room.

Cincinnati transfer Jermaine Lawrence is eligible for Manhattan during the 2014-15 season, per @steve_masiello. Huge MAAC news.

What was their reasoning? Normally you have to sit out a year. But nonetheless good for him.

Ouch. I know Carleton is usually one of the best Canadian teams, but yikes. I hope Memphis stays relevant, as they are one of the few nationally recognized programs in our conference. They lost most of their production from last year if I recall correctly.

The year UC went to the Final 4 they lost to Athletes in Action in the preseason...

Carleton beats Memphis 92-60 in Tigers' 4th game of foreign tour in Canada. Austin Nichols DNP during entire trip due to injury.

I know it is exhibition and Nichols didn't play, but yikes.
