When there's this few games though taking out a game where they obviously shot very poorly drastically skews the stats though.

Sure but they’ve played 3 D1 teams with 2 of the 3 being top 100 and they have a 41% 3 point shooting percentage to show for it

I think we are completely different without Jaevin. I predict a brutal loss and complete melt down by some on this board. I think this team is good for 17-12 if Jaevin is lost for the year.

Come on dude.

Like if we lose by any where near that margin then a meltdown is deserved.

But I think under estimate having Jarron Cumberland.

I don’t see the above score being anywhere close to reality

Early reports indicate it may not be so bad. But having to wait til they get back in brutal

Without Jaevin and with Jarron in slump from 3, we don't have anywhere close to the shooting ability to keep up with BGSU in a three point shooting contest. We need to beat them on the interior, that means Jarron/Williams on the drive and Scott/Vogt posting up. As I said earlier, this game may test Vogt - BGSU has the size to stand their ground in the interior if they play big - but Scott should have some height and weight on his man.

If the officials call a tight game again like the did in game one it should also help us, as long as Vogt can avoid foul trouble.

I see this being a tight game, if we shoot like we did last game and BGSU shoots like they did last game, then it is probably a loss. We need some points off the bench and/or from McNeal. Having only 4 guys score more than 2 points isn't going to be enough against BGSU.

Oddly the Illinois state game gave me some more confidence. I saw old Jarron back. And I love that

The funny thing is I think CJB will be forced now to go with more Jarron ISO until Jaevin can get back in. We don't have the shooters to run the offense Brannen wants unless someone else like Moore or one of the frosh can get going which seems unlikely at this point.

We could see another 30+ minute game out of 4 or 5 players if Vogt can stay on the court. Sounds like we will need to guard that perimeter tight tonight. Although if they are smart they will take some drives at Vogt to try to get him in foul trouble.

Unless their bigs can jump I would imagine Vogt can still put up some finger roll mini hooks up from 5 feet or so even if he can't back them down to the rim. He is showing decent touch. We are going to have to D up...and with a short bench CJB might just be okay for a while taking a little time off the clock. We can't turn it over 16 times again.

With Jaevin and Jaume we could run a little more but right now we are just too short on quality back up. We can't play at a furious pace...the frosh aren't adjusted to the speed yet and our starters can't go all out for 35 minutes.

Kw really has looked good to me at the start of the year, he has to stop making dumb fouls but with jaevin out he should flourish, I look for him to have a big game tonight

He's playing within his limitations. Taking it to the rack and putting up a few open 3's is just right for him.

I don't think we have to abandon an offense because one good shooter is out. Driving is just as good of an option if a player is open on the perimeter. Scott's dunk lat night is Exhibit A. I only listened to the game though, so I don't really know what we were running.
