Apparently, the rumors that UC turned down the post-season uniforms is untrue.

Speaking of the Bearcats, the Adidas March Madness shorts UC “supposedly” turned down are now at outlet stores (via Nick Walter). However, a little birdie told me, “Just as a heads-up. Those Bearcats adidas post season uniforms are very real and very much happening. The fans saying they were rejected don’t know what they are talking about. adidas just didn’t put them in the release after UC signed with Under Armour. But they are planning to wear them in conference tourney and NCAA. Jerseys have sleeves.”

Oh wow, the pictures I see today look WAY better. I think the shorts are different material than the ones on sale. I don't like the sleeves, but these overall uniforms are really growing on me.

Going off of Twitter, I think you're the only one haha. I haven't seen anyone like them. The shorts are hideous. The stripe at the top of them makes it look like they're drooping or something. I'm not a fan of the jersey short sleeves either, but that's irrelevant compared to those shorts. Yuk.

If you haven't seen them:

The Top by itself is fine.

The shorts by themselves is fine.

But put the two of them together and you get a hideous amalgamation.

WHY SLEEVES! AGGHHH!!!!!

How did sleeves ever make their way onto basketball uniforms? I get some people like the undershirt, but to not even have a choice? Ugh. I'm going to blame every missed shot for the rest of the season on this :)

Nobody's going to like the UA unis either.

I'll pass judgment when I see our players in them on Friday.

Lol, given the rumor that we were turning down the Adidas unis, I'll take it with a grain. But, given the patent right Nike holds on the jumpman, I'm wondering how close UA could really get to replicating it without legal ramification.

If the rumors are true that they are bringing back the Jordan Jumpman style I think fans will love them.

Would love to see it happen, at one point probably the BEST unis in basketball.

As to Addidas jerseys for postseason play havent like them since they started this. They are made of a different material so i would think that the players like them and in the end that is all that matters

As cool as the jumpman's were back in the day, they wouldn't be popular if they came out now. There is a reason why teams stopped wearing them. Give me something simple and I'll be happy. The tops actually look fine if they get rid of their sleeves though they look more like soccer jerseys to me.
