Didn't he slash from the top of the key to hit the buzzer beater in the purdue game?
One game? Now how many times did you see us with only 10seconds on clock and he wanted nothing to do with ball?

I think tc goes to Mick and ask be moved off ball. We really can't go 3 guard with jenifer, troy and Cobb. We a get killed on boardsI'll put money on this starting 5:
PG Troy
SG Cobb
SF Shaq
PF Clark
C Ellis
Our bench is solid and we could sub in and out regularly: DeBerry, KJ, Jenifer, Evans and Scott. Moore should be last off the bench. Troy is starting and I don't see anything changing that. Hopefully Jenifer is talented and contributes right away, but playing well in a scrimmage isn't enough to take our experienced starting point guard's spot. If he is as good as he appears to be then he'll play and find the minutes. I hope he competes and pushes Caupain to be an even better player. They'll be going at each other every single day in practice and it will only make both players better.

I'm only worried bout scoring coming from wings. Shaq needs become unstoppable slasherIn today's college basketball landscape, I think you have to recruit offense, and teach defense, not the other way around. For Mick's era, he has recruited athletes who were limited offensively, but who he could drive defense down their throats and turn them into a defensive machine. That became our niche and it gave us winning seasons and an annual trip to the dance....and occasionally got us ranked in the Top 25. Kentucky played great defense last year, but they were very talented offensively as well. That combination puts you in the national championship conversation every year. A one-dimensional team gets you knocked out in the first or second round every year.
We all love good defense, but we will never be truly "relevant" with defense-only. There has to be a balance. We may have to sacrifice some defense to upgrade our offense and have the ability to win by out-scoring teams and/or shutting them down defensively. Based on past recruiting, it's pretty obvious that the great offensive players have very little interest in coming here and having defense shoved down their throats.

Why is Clark automatically starting over deberry? I'm type that every year every position is up for grabs

Damn u be making sense. Like how u don't play favoritism with players. Shaq my favorite on team but I'll bench his ass quick for better playersI agree with this. If nothing else, practicing with Jenifer will force Caupain to dribble a little lower and tighten up his ball handling.
We have 200 minutes to go around. And a million different lineups we can go with, without much of a drop off. The guys who produce won't get buried on the bench. Good news is, in 1 week we will get a great look at the team in a real exhibition game!
good point but We score more with deberry and Ellis could also lead in reb from PFClark might lead the league in rebounding. DeBerry has struggled to find defensive rebounding position in the zone.
How less playing time? Your giving away minutes based on what? It's minutes for everybody. We don't have not one star spread wealth aroundyea. The starting PG is going to go to the coach and say...Hey, Move me to the 2. I want less playing time and I dont have confidence in myself to run this team. Yep, thats 100% not happening. any more genius insight?

Deberry was also a liability on defense, but you knew that considering youre a defensive guy
