Overall very impressed with Moore and Clark, other than that there were good moments and some bad but they are learning and if your winning and learning at the same time you can't beat that.

I still don't know what some of you see in KJ he is getting worse, if he's not fouling he's turning it over, if I didn't know any better I would think he's a freshman just sad because he could be something when he's a senior.

Ellis is an alpha dog. I love it. He has good touch from the line too. As long as he keeps himself in check, he can be all-conference caliber. I thought bc of the timing with the Lawrence thing that we were kind of bringing him back bc of that...but no. He is just a solid, solid player.

KJ was better than Cobb. At least he still found a way to get 7...it will get better on offense. Lots of new parts but good passing, so guys just need time to find their spots.

Ugly....some guys showed some flashes. Now they know it's not going to be easy. Way too many turnovers. Didn't see the final stats but late in the game UC was shooting 45% but had 15 turnovers. Caupain wasn't aggressive enough. Didn't get to the foul line enough, as a whole. It's the first game and we all knew it's be a process.

Liked Clarks second half effort. That's the player I think we'll see more of. Moore looked good and Ellis.

Shaq looked like Shaq looks to often. We need the guards to step up.

Also after years and years of the inside game being so weak, how about Ellis, Clark, and Moore combining for 32 points on 14-24 shooting.

Hopefully Clark and Moore realize that if no one else is going to score in the offense, they might as well fire up some shots. I think they both look like impact players. Very impressive D-1 debut by both.

I'm not comparing the too I'm saying period he just isn't getting it done. He's throwing crazy passes, shooting airballs like what happened.
4 of his 7 were passes for lay ups under the basket where he did nothing and was in the right spot at right time.

I am hoping for...
Shaq over 15 FGA + Reb
Ellis over 10.5 Reb + Blocks
Caupain over 10 FT made + Assists
KJ+Sanders+Cobb over 3.5 3 PT FGM combined
Moore over 8.5 Points + Rebs
Clark over 2.5 Reb
Morman+Guyn over 2 Steals combined

I'd like to see us limit them to 1 shot every time. Crisp passing and good free throw shooting would be nice to see on the offensive end.

1. Shaq wasnt even close. Total of 6. Yikes.
2. Ellis was at 10 combined. But 3 steals, 2 assists, 13 points...I'll take it.
3. Caupain had 4 FT made and 4 assists...needs to be the minimum for both.
4. 0 3s from Sanders, KJ, and Cobb. Almost as disappointing as Shaq's 0.
5. Moore had 9 and 2. Needs more boards, but he's awesome.
6. 6 boards for Clark + 4 steals. Great 2nd half.
7. Guyn got 5 pts early then was useless. Nothing from Morman either.

Front court was very good tonight. Moore had 9 points and 2 steals, Clark had 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 steals and Ellis had 13 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks.

Sanders and Thomas were so bad that they played 3 guards basically the entire second half.
