Samford

No it's not. It's a bad half in a game in November. They will take care of business and win by double digits. Give Samford credit, they have knocked down a ton of shots.

I get where you're coming from...but any 31-4 run on us, especially at home against Samford, has to be at least a little alarming.

I would say it's an ENORMOUS anomaly. They made a ton of shots and it snowballed. It happens. IPFW just beat IU. UCONN has lost to two mid majors. Michigan St. escaped FGCU by two points at home. It happens this time of year. Not alarmed in the least.

KJ brought us back in this game though.

Playing this bad against the zone is bad news for when we play actual good teams.

I'm just saying if you gonna talk KJ, at least give him credit for the buckets he made in the come back.

I mean, to be honest NO ONE else wanted to shoot. Not Troy not Jacob not Gary and Kyle was in foul trouble. Don't blame KJ for the rest of the teams indecision.

He at least has the heart to take a chance on a shot.

This sounds so sad. Not wrong. But sad.

This game really shows the lack of confidence (correct or incorrect) that cronin has in jj or Cumberland

Or the stubbornness to keep playing a someone he falls in love with despite what they actually do or don't bring to the table.

Cronins biggest weakness as a coach is his unwillingness the change. He must have taken the Marvin Lewis coaching classes and unfortunately we're seeing the same results...
