They did.
take a 2nd run at Duncomb?
Just saw that. I wasn't challenging you btw.
Well that certainly could make CJ Gunn interesting. As well as someone like Jerome Hunter. Guess we will see.
Moeller guy possible.

If you have an open mind, (not you), I don’t think it’s hard to see the vision. He’s going for something similar to Chris Mack and Anthony grant. Both have had success at the highest level. It’s not “mid major”. It’s not a system that is complete foreign to this level of basketball. It’s just not what people at uc are used to. It doesn’t work with players that aren’t skilled at all. That is why those players aren’t here anymore. Looking back it’d be nice to have 1-2 of those guys along with some of these guys to mix in but I also don’t want a whole team of guys with no skill either, like we had when brannen arrived.
You’re saying Chris Mack can’t coach? This is what you’re saying? How are Anthony Grant and Chris Mack looking now? Would be nice to have examples of guys who coach the system who consistently make the NCAA tournament. Grant got unlucky last year with the cancellation and having a top team. But he has 1 NCAA tournament in 4 years and Mack just missed the NCAA tournament in year 3. Either of those results would put them on the coaching hot seat at UC.

Anthony grant had a 1 seed at Dayton and lost a lottery pick in the draft. Yes, Dayton is going to take a step back after losing a lottery pick.
What a weird argument, but I’m not surprised. You’re right, they can’t coach
Saying your shining examples of coaches who use the system Brannen wants to run aren't exactly having great success at their current schools. Taking a step back is one thing, but missing the NCAA tournament completely is another.
You’re doubling down on saying they are bad coaches?
Also, what’s your point? That they aren’t successful coaches and brannen won’t be either? What are you getting at
Ok. What system makes winning a sure thing? I’d love to know. Mick just snuck in as an 11 seed and went to 1 sweet 16 in 12 years while here. Is that the system that is a sure thing? You are doubling down on putting words in my mouth.
Mack did great at Xavier. But Mack at Louisville, Grant at Dayton (and Alabama) and Brannen thus far have question marks. Maybe they all turn it around next year, but the system definitely doesn't make winning a sure thing.

No, no system is a sure thing. You nailed that. Congratulations
