Sounds like dude didn't tell players... Jumped on a plane and left. Odd.

Yeah, he literally got in the car in the middle of the night and drove to Chicago, sold his car and bought a plane ticket back to Spain without telling anyone. Keith and Vogt both said they had no idea he left the team. Childish move on his part... I am all for leaving to go home and play pro ball for money, but to not tell your teammates and just vanish in the night is very weak.

That is not a cool way to go out. Had he manned up and told his teammates I would feel differently. Sneaking out the back door is not a good look. I can understand wanting to go for a better opportunity...but that is not how you would hope he would go about it. Oh well...it's Dou's chance to shine now!
 
meh, coaches do this crap every year, if its acceptable for them, its acceptable for the kids too.


maybe not being close to his teammates was part of the reason he was looking to go.



end of the day im good with players doing what's in their own self interest, everybody else in college athletics does.
