Game is tomorrow night at 7 PM EST on ESPN3 (and FS Ohio?)

Southeastern Louisiana is really bad. They are #320 in KenPom. They are 1-3, with losses to TCU (90-77), Texas A&M (100-58), and Nebraska (92-65). They beat Mississippi College (76-69).

I smell the century mark.

They are beyond bad. I saw their game against Nebraska yesterday and they were down 53-16 at halftime. Didn't watch the 2nd half so I don't know how they could have possibly outscored them in the final 20 minutes. I agree about the century mark. I'll say 105-60.

Nebraska on the other hand looked pretty good so Friday's game I expect a much better test. Although it was against a really bad team. I saw they lost to Villanova by 20+ as their only loss.

I'd like to see a big game from Evans. He was cold yesterday, so hopefully he can find his rhythm. I think Clark will have a big game too. He seems very confident right now. I like what I'm seeing from him.

Maybe we should just play Team B this game? Justin Jenifer has a 15 and 15 game. Evans leads all scorers with 25. KJ hits 6 threes. DeBerry gets fouled a record 39 times. Quad has a QUADruple double

Hope we get to see a lot more minutes from Jenifer and Moore before we get into some tougher games where a lot of extra minutes may not be available. I think Evans will continue to see solid minutes.

At this point in time I don't think we will see a lot of minutes from Moore in big/close games except for spot minutes. If Jenifer can control his turnovers he should continue to see significant minutes. He has had time to experiment and learn so it's time to put those lessons to good use. Cronin has let him play freely so far but he will have to tighten it up soon.

I have a feeling we will see Mick start to use a more regular lineup tonight to get the team prepared for tougher opponents this weekend and Butler next week. We will see the starters for regular minutes compared to the last few games so they can start to get in sync. Just my opinion though.

Why? That's not the kind of player he is.

Waterhead, I don't think Jenifer has a TO problem. He had 3 TO one time (in his 1st D1 game ever). The whole point of recruiting him is so he can be a great passer and creator. If you try to rein him in, he becomes just like any other boring PG we've seen on teams that can't score 70 points. If you crack the whip on him, you take away what he does best. And the last thing we need imo is to have guys out there thinking too much...it leads to hesitation and timid play. We've seen far too much of that over the years. When Jenifer is in, he needs to GO! GO! GO! We can live with TO here and there from a freshman. PLEASE don't take the keys away from him.

Again, if you listen to the head coach's comments, he loves Jenifer. His playing time is going nowhere but up. His turnovers are a concern to nobody because he doesn't commit many of them.

Definitely not going to happen tonight.

Everyone seems obsessed with shutting down what we're doing and going back to our old ways. Folks, we're winning by over 40 ppg. Even if some things don't work against "better" competition, we have a huge margin for error (and our players are smart enough and skilled enough to adjust). The schedule gets a little harder, sure...but we're going to be favored in all but just a couple games this year. And against the Iowa State types, we're going to have to score points to win. Our depth is our biggest weapon. Why be so quick to just toss it aside?

We haven't played anyone so how do you know what we are doing is going to work against good teams?
Good teams are going to slow us down and make us grind it out.
We know our grind it out play works against good teams....

This just isn't a true statement or even close to one. His 26.3 TORate is the highest of any guard in the Cronin era (from my quick look over the data, could have missed a guy or two).

Umm, no not really.

Disagree here. Depth is a weapon sure, but our biggest weapon in that our first 7 are really freaking good.

I think if Caupain, Cobb, Clark, and Ellis can play 30 minutes a game at a higher tempo, they will get those minutes. Early season is for getting the back ups minutes, later in the season is for having the best talent on the floor as many minutes as possible.
