Big win by the Cats especially with a 2 game road trip to Memphis and Houston which just knocked off UCONN. If we can get a split with them I'll be happy. This conference is going to be a lot tougher then people think especially this year.

Solid win, 65-57.

Cincinnati is going on the road to face the toughest team to date. Memphis will be a good barometer to see if UC can compete to win the league.

Want to see troy play 30+ minutes...
you know the real nice thing about Troy is he is 6'3 and and long. Being he just turned 18 he may very well grow a couple of inches and gain about 20 lbs. he could end up being a real good player for us.

JJ may have had his best game of the year for about 4 weeks straight. HIs confidence is through the roof. Points, blocks, steals, effort, rebounds and great passing once again. SK is still struggling but JJ is going to take some pressure off. We just need one more player to emerge and I think that player is Caupain right now.

What a good win. Especially with SK stuck in a slump. Jj, Slanders and Troy all were big. SMU is not a bad team. They're going to knock 1 or 2 of the front runners off. That was a respect win.

Jackson: 17 points, 6 rebounds, 5 blocks, 5 steals and 3 assists. Ridiculous.

This will be a key win if UC is on the bubble come March. I am excited to see how the respond on Saturday. Memphis is very good and doesn't mind an uptempo game...

Yeah im excited too. I think they will be jacked. SK has to be better than the 5-25 we've seen the past couple games. Huge early season opportunity. I'd definitely give Memphis the edge I hope the Cats equate themselves well on the road.

Sean Kilpatrick doesn't play well against good competition. I am praying at some point he turns it around. A 3-13 type game will result in a blow out...

JJ's athleticism is better than most of the guys he will play this year. I can see him averaging a double-double soon. His energy is contagious.

Mentioned earlier this year that I cant remember the last time Sean had a good game against a good team. He forces too much against good teams. Thank goodness he knows better how to get to the foul line this season.

I don't think sk had that bad of a game. Smu had their whole team all over him and he still put up 13 points. All of his shots were challenged for the most part

The point wasn't that he had a bad game; the point is that he is missing shots he needs to make. And yes, he was open tonight. He is absolutely a valuable player for us, but to be the star that he wants to be and we need him to be, he has to hit open shots.

From a shooting stand point he def did not have a good game. He had a lot of good looks from 3 that didn't go in. But, he did a good job of attacking and he has been solid from the FT line which has been nice.

He has gone from 3 years of being an offensive liability to something inhabiting his body. Total transformation. He still has to prove himself against the real Bigs. Hopefully he remembers NM and uses that game as his impetus.
