I honestly don't think I've even seen a team be unable to get that one crucial stop in so many opportunities in one season. It's just a complete ball buster. Unbelievable. I can't shake it.

I'm right there with ya. Freaking rough.

Just one of those years. Very disappointing.

If we're lucky, the returning players will take all the heartache they've felt this year and the outcome tonight (against a very beatable team) and use it as fuel for a burning commitment to be better than they were this year. And I do think they could be better.

Much of that hope lies with Kyle Washington. He's got a big load to carry next year.

Can't wait for the articles in the summer and fall from Bill Koch about how much we've learned from all these close loses. I'm going to go puke now

Yeaaah...it's going to be brutal. Just an absolute terrible sports year for UC. Hopefully it's not some UA curse. There needs to be some serious recruiting going on this off season...

We bring back all our players from a team that gave UK's 5 NBA players a run, to have a season like this? Unacceptable. Mick failed so hard this year. Ellis was the biggest bust of the season. He actually was statistically worse than he was his junior year. First team All AAC? HA! Not going to miss him AT ALL. What did Caupain do tonight? You make a run in the tourney with your guards stepping up. Evans and DeBerry gave it their all. Shaq was always a "what if" player and I'm not going to miss him. Fire Mick and bring in a coach that understands offense. Are we going to keep him here just because he won't leave us for a better job? I'm tired of this same old mediocrity bullshit. I'd rather win 1 NCAA championship and not make the tourney the other 10 years than make the tourney 6 years in a row with no results. Big deal. Fire Mick. Fire Tubbs. Peace out fuckers.

I think Caupain is done with the rah-rah sh*t. Next year is his last year, time to put this sour taste to the side and start making our own breaks.

We need more playmakers and influx of talent. These kids have everything they had but I'm tired of overachieving. A perimeter of Caupain, Evans and Cumberland should be a good start. He we need another a PG that can attack the rim. That Ottey kid looks impressive on film. Hope we land him too.
