At least we didn't quit and lose by 31 like Temple did against us the first time.

I dont think this puts us on bubble watch. The SMU win gave us some big leeway especially with how soft the bubble is this year. Temple is a very good team that took Kansas to the woodshed earlier this year on their home floor. Just didnt play well tonight and when then happens in conference on the road most times you will get bit. Chance for the conference championship is gone which is disappointing. However with this being a rebuilding year making the tourney was the goal I had for this team. They are still in very good position for that goal.
All night temple has driven to the goal without resistance, on the ball D from the guard was bad tonight. Once they got to the rim tho they dropped off alot of passes once Ellis went up for blocks. Need to get better rotations down to protect the rim.
We got outplayed bad early and never got back in it. Tough game. We can use the tired excuse tonight I guess, but I don't want to hear it again the rest of the year.
Well that wasn't fun. But at least it not a bad loss and doesn't hurt out tournament chances. Sucks that we likely are out of the conference championship race but lets get things right and take care of business Saturday against Tulane. Hope Clark didn't aggravate his injury, I think he was benched cause he got shredded all night on D.
Go Cats!!
Down 5, 45-40 and KJ gets a steal and instead of trying to draw a foul shoots a jumper and the game was over from that point.
Clark is struggling. And Caupain took 6 shots and had 0 FT attempts. Can't happen.
Speaking of KJ how about that time we are down 7 and he has the ball at the top of the key putting on a dribbling clinic with the shot clock at 12. Then while still dribbling between his legs, etc, 4 seconds on the clock he decides to pass it to "Shaq" .... at the 28 foot marker.
Clark struggles because he doesn't trust himself on offense.

He hasn't been the same since the double techs and benching. Not blaming coaches, its more on Caupain. Still seems like he is pouting out of the floor.Agree on Caupain. 12 shots minimum for the amount of minutes he plays. Here is what I see. Caupain can create as he has shown numerous times when the shot clock is winding down. He can get by his man and get a shot. My problem is WHY can't we do this earlier on in the shot clock? I mean sometimes shooting the ball at the 20 second mark isn't so bad is it?
