KJ doesn't advance the offense, especially on the road. I expected this to improve a little more by now.

I have seen enough basketball this year to definately say I want Caupain at the 2 guard position next year full time. My hope is Jenifer can be the lead guy.

My other beef is this: Ellis is not a post up guy. I believe we are better off letting him screen and slip for a possible 10 foot and in midrange shots than have him try and back someone in. He's also got a weird attitude on the court. Can't pinpoint it other than it looks like he's not all there.

Probably won't happen but KJ backing up Caupain and Cobb backing up Jenifer would be ideal. This is assuming Jenifer's reputation as a lead guy is as good as they say.

Actually, just disregard that last post. I don't know why I'm looking to next year. There is much to accomplish this year. Sorry about that.

Down 5, 45-40 and KJ gets a steal and instead of trying to draw a foul shoots a jumper and the game was over from that point.

Also at the end of the first half that was a horrible deep shot from three with 7 seconds left. Two bad shot choices

To his credit, he also hit a 3 and made two nice assists in our run early in the second half.

Very true, I like Kevin he made some good plays. But I was just saying his shot selection was very bad for those plays which were big plays. I love him being aggressive tho

No need to dwell on this one. We got beat. Not too hard to figure out why. We don't have to worry about Temple anymore, so we can move on. A few days to get home and rest, and 2 big home games that we need to show up for.

I know it was garbage time, but once again Morman gets in the game and immediately makes his presence felt. I'd love to start getting him 10 minutes per game again.

The game was lost in the first 10 minutes of the first half. You can't continue to start games passive and turnover-prone and expect teams not to take advantage. Temple was motivated and hot, and they made UC pay for every mistake. Cutting down turnovers would make that defense a lot better.

Would love to see consistent aggression from someone. Take the ball to the rim and make the other team collapse and defend. Our offense is painfully easy to guard.

Sometimes with this young team, it's less a question of who's going to step up and more of "who isn't going to show up tonight". That guy tonight was Ellis.

Ellis is the first player on the team I'd give a pass to on the tired thing. That guys been battling all season and logging a ton of minutes.

DeBerry only logged 10 minutes and Moore didn't play. Considering how poorly the game was going, and if your assessment is correct, seems like Ellis should have a few of his 31 minutes shaved off.

Couldn't agree more. I mean DeBerry was ready to play tonight. He had 0 rebounds, but honestly I don't know if there was a defensive rebound to be had.

Not surprised by the game last night, we'll be fine we got a favorable rest of the season 3 big games left 2 of those are at home. Hopefully we can win out which is very possible. That would give this young team a ton of confidence heading into the conference tourney. They deserve a nice rest after prob the most tiring 3 games of the season.
