Too Soon UL Game Thread?

UC will win again. They simply match up well with Louisville and they KNOW UL has no respect for them. I have listened to multiple interviews and they all say basically the same thing and not one player has given UC credit. The interviews are smug. I expect a good close win but it would not surprise me if the Bearcats blow them out. That may sound crazy to many of you but its how I truly feel. Trust me, Cincinnati is every bit as jacked for this game as Louisville is.

Jeff if your right again I'll never doubt you again. You will be the new Jimmy the Greek.

Waite there are people that doubt the Bearcats are as good as UL but the players BELIEVE they are as good as ANYBODY. They feed off of this disrespect and they are by no means a perfect team but you dont win 23 of 26 games and not be talented.

Hello all, been following this forum for a while now, first post. Nice to have an avenue to talk to other avid bearcats fans!
Can't wait for the cats to silence all of the Louisville haters tomorrow. With our rockin crowd and a determined senior group I think we win by 3-5 pts. I believe in these guys! I think ST puts up double digits in the first half to keep it close at half. Then our defense and senior leadership takes it home down the stretch. I hope Cronin sticks it to "big brother" again. Tired of pitino's whiney butt not giving credit where it's due.

Want to watch the game somewhere with a good crowd(bw3's in colerain has been disappointing) any suggestions? If i cant be at this game, i wanna yell and cheer somewhere! Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Dave n' busters is supposed to be the official watch location but you might get stuck with Cards fans there too. Also overpriced drinks and crappy food! But the game will be on.

We never have the refs...ever.

We are the home team, the should be even at worst, especially with how big our crowd will be tomorrow. Hopefully we get those reds from the game at SMU who looked afraid to make a call against the home team, haha!

Crossroad's in White Oak is a good place. I am no means a west sider but I have a friend who lives over there and I love crossroads. Their wings are really good.

No doubt! The first 10 min of that game looked like rookie central. UC is one of the only teams IVE seen get homered at home. Its been that way for as long as I can remember. I think it's the style and brand of UC. Refs love to hate us and the opposing fans love to hate even more. I dont see it changing lol.

Every team thinks they get homered at home. I saw a thread about this on the Louisville board just a few days ago.

I think you are right. I think often the game will go to those who believe they are better than the other team. Confidence is huge. We can't be of the mindset that all the stars have to align to beat this team. We have to come in thinking lets show this team who is BOSS!!

We are strong in this category with our seniors...we just need the other players to have that same mental approach. No fear! Make them raise the white flag.

I just got UC +4. Completely blown away i found line value like this. This # is absurd. Are we really to think we would be getting 12 points if this game was at Louisville? I got a hefty sum on this game and if it moves more in our favor might have to find a way to buy on margin.

Hell, the last time these teams played the game was UC +9 to 9.5. This line is saying that the market has changed ~3 points to Louisville's favor in that time period? Lol gtfo

I bet on Sportsbook and it's at +3.5. I'll probably throw a little on UC to win outright, why not. Just some change though, I've already got enough emotionally invested in this, haha.

My 3 keys to winning tomorrow.

JJ needs to stay on the court. He's a great defender, the crowd needs more JJ, and he helps our offense run better with an inside out game. Absolutely crucial that he's not in foul trouble.

Need to limit turnovers. We have been doing a great job the last two games...best two TO games of the year. I would be happy with 12 or less against a great D. We cannot afford 20 again and expect to win.

Get off to a good start so the arena is rocking. We have the benefit of having a 6th man for this game. That's about an 8 point swing advantage from the first game...we need to keep the 6th man in the game.

Agreed. Not sure if it was because of the ankle last game, but Mick got JJ a few short rests early, which I think helped him stay out of foul trouble. Then JJ went ham in the 2nd half. If he can make it to half with 1 foul, it allows him to be as aggressive as he needs to be.

Just saw on the Rally Cats twitter. The students are camping out in tents in front of the arena for best seats. That is what I am talking about!!! My freshman year in 04 we camped out for the UL game too. Let's goooo

I hear ya....I've sometimes bet (a pittance) against my heart - kind of hedging...If Cats win, I'm so happy I don't begrudge the coin - if they lose, I'm devastated, but at least richer.

It's newer but I am a huge fan of Mio's on short vine. It's on the corner and right across from Bogarts. Plenty of TV's the bartenders are fun and know a lot about sports. Huge UC fans. The beer selection is solid and the food is really good. Ill be there starting at 10 lol.

My other two places would be Macs and Murphy's Pub. I've been partying in Clifton since 04 so Mios has been a refreshing addition. Adriadicos (sp) on McMillan has a really nice bar and tv set up too. I hope this helps!
