It's mostly just our road performance that hurts our kenpom numbers. At home we are probably top 10 but our road metrics really weigh us down.

Smu is hot and they just look the same in home or away games. Will be the only game we are not favored in. I hope we send them home disappointed

Well you said 11-15 we would end up which is correct. If we win out at 29-2. We will be Top 5 for sure but no way they give us a #1 seed. We will be #2 seed at best.

You're talking 32-2 if we win the conference tourney. Hard to deny 32-2 is a 1 seed record.

It really depends on all the other teams at the top and how they do, if we win out and all the other top teams win out then we don't get a 1 seed, but we are way more likely to win out our regular season and conference tournament than any other team ahead of us aside from gonzaga.

I think we would deserve it, but I'm not on the committee. It will be obvious if we are getting screwed by the releasing of the top 16 seeds early. Hope I'm wrong but here is my quess for top seeds.

Gonzaga will probably get a #1 seed
Villanova should
ACC top team
Big 12 top team
or PAC 12 top team
 
If we win out I say a for sure a #2 seed. It all depends on the other teams for the #1 seed. I say Gonazaga for sure #1 seed then 3 other seeds left. We need these other conferences to keep beating each other. I predict there won't even be a 1 seed from the ACC just because the teams keep taking out each other. We will see what happens. We really need to win this Sunday.

The top 2 conferences will get a #1 seed even if the best team is a 6 loss team. That's just how they have done it in the past. Especially if they win tourney & regular season title. The committee will reward the teams in the best conferences. Hope we win out and hope I'm wrong. If we do win all the way out we could very well be ranked in top 3. The teams ahead of us play each other so many times down the stretch. I say just win baby! then see what happens.

Aw getting mad of our success. If only you tuberville was here to save the day. I don't think anyone is getting carried away, I think even with a loss at SMU and is winning the rest of our games and the tourney, a 4 seed would be the worst we would get, probably end up as a 3. Some people have expressed concern about @UCF and @UCONN, well Saturday we proved we have nothing to worrying about with the huskies, hopefully Wednesday we puts the fears about ICF to rest as well. Projecting that this team will get a top four seed isn't getting carried away in any fashion. At this point, unless there is some type of major collapse, I'd say it's almost a given.
