Up to a 4 seed in the latest bracketology

Keep taking care of business and that'll change. It's a fair seed for results to date. The higher teams and those rated at 4/5 all have 2-3 games left against another 1-5 seed, meaning someone else is going to go lower if we continue to focus on each opponent. No more letdowns like ECU. If we are supposed to win by 20, I'd like to see us do it like what we did to S. Fla Sunday.

We are in first place. Every team in our league wants to knock us off. We are they're season. I don't want any let downs but I just want to win. It's nice to blow teams out but staying healthy and winning is what is important to me.

ESPNs power rankings are laughable. They are stuck on the ACC so bad. Florida state and Notre dame both with two losses last week and the each fell only 1 spot, duke only fell 1. And of course, despite beating a ranked team and demolishing another this week the cats didn't move an inch. It's sad how biased they are.

I'll take it!! That's a solid jump. With the emergence of Cumberland I feel like we are a top 15 team for sure. It's hard to game plan for a team that can score 15+ points from any position on the court...then turn around and know you will have a top 10 D waiting for you on the other side of the court.

With 5 good positional players we can attack weakness against any opponent and we can generally shut down top players from the other team.

We have a couple of weaknesses (FT shooting, no all American go to guy) but overall I think we can play with any team in the country for one night.

The reason they are stuck on the AAC, is because it's a damn gauntlet of hard games. I mean Georgia tech has more quality wins than we do, as does notre dame and Florida state.

You have to understand how to deep the ACC is. Those teams risk losing every single night, they don't have south Florida, ecu and others.

I'm a bearcat fan through and through but the ACC is going to cause teams to lose but says little about how good they are

Kentucky is dropping farther than #7 in AP. 2 losses and a bad loss to Tennessee.

Ha they dropped to 8.. I told you it's pretty accurate.

And they were just 18 votes from being #7

I knew UK wouldn't fall much. And that West Virginia would make a huge jump.

UC is 3-1 vs Sagarin Top 50 and 9-2 vs RPI Top 100. UC is making the best of this trash conference.

Quick look at next weeks game, some pretty good potential to jump a few more spots this week. We've got an easy one so losing shouldn't be a problem for us.

Well yea. They can only beat who is on the schedule and they have.

I'm just saying other teams have a much tougher conference, you can deny their prior wins just because they lost a few games.

It's not about denying their prior wins. It's about total body of work. Quality wins mean nothing when you have all kinds of other losses. See Temple.

So we lost to a 7 loss Rhode Island team? A team who lost to Houston, Lasalle and Richmond.

Quality wins are more valuable than bad losses. Temple is a borderline bad loss (101 in Kenpom) for a team like Florida state and its their worst loss so far.

Like your making devalue what UC is doing and I wasn't trying to do that. Im just saying that Florida State has beaten: #44 Minnesota, #10 Florida, #34 Wake Forest, #2 Virginia, #15 Duke, #24 Notre Dame, #4 Louisville

That is an incredible resume and hard to deny that teams total body of work.

This is nothing like temple. Temple had a good weekend and won 2 in a row against good teams. Florida State has been racking up top 50 wins all year.

My statement on Kentucky is right I said they would drop further than #7 which is exactly correct. I also had WV at #7 exactly were they ended up in AP. Don't know why you called me out?

Lets look at top 50 Kenpom wins for all the teams in the top 25:

1. Gonzaga: 5
2. Baylor: 9
3. Kansas: 7
4. Nova: 7
5. Zona: 2
6. Ville: 6
7. West Virginia: 5
8. UK: 3
9. Virginia: 4
10. Wisconsin: 5
11. UCLA: 3
12. UNC: 7
13. Oregon: 3
14: UC: 4
15: Florida State: 8
16: Butler: 8
17: Maryland: 5
18: St Marys: 1
19. South Carolina: 3
20. Notre Dame: 5
21. Duke: 4
22. Creighton: 3
23: Purdue: 2
24: Florida: 3
25: Northwestern: 3

We Are ranked right where we should be. But I wouldn't fee slighted if Butler and Florida state were ranked ahead of us. They tie for 2nd in the entire country on quality wins. Those quality far out weigh their slip ups. If either one of those teams don't lose next week, I could see them jumping us even if we do win as well. And it wouldn't be unfair at all.

I didn't call you out. I said the Reddit poll was "pretty accurate". Yes technically you were right, but you made it seem as if 7 was a few spots too high.

I mean personally I agree and I put them at 10.. and think they are just a bit over rated at 7 or 8 at the moment.
