I personally hope eggs losses every single game the rest of the season
Not sure if anyone has posted this yet, but bracketmatrix.com is back up. Looks like our average is the top 6-seed, in-between Wisconsin and St. Mary's.
They have a player who could finish his career never losing to uc. They clearly have a mental edge on us. I really don't want them coming into our house intimidating our players because of who they just beat.
I hate Xavier with all my heart. But they are kinda starting to own us. I just want to beat them. And I'd rather them not come in with 2 huge roads wins like that.
Like I don't care about rankings, but if they win all those games they will clearly be far and away 2 fold better then us. I'd rather not be embarrassed again.
Cincinnati remains at #22 in the AP Poll
With the lack of respect for the AAC this year, I'm thinking we could go undefeated in the AAC and not break the top 10.
What sucks about being #22 is that one loss can kick you out. I think we deserve to be ahead of st Mary's and top 20 if we beat smu and finish 2-0 this week
Yeah, we should be ahead of St Mary but that's about it. Not much we can do, not many upsets. I do agree with your first comment too. Kinda feels like Western Michigan in football or any non P5 school. We can keep winning but we could consistently get jumped by teams in stronger conferences like the ACC or Big East. Prime example would be Notre Dame jumping us because of who they beat.
A 2-0 Week could help us break the top 20.
Here is who the teams in front of us play:
#21 St Mary's: @portland @Gonzaga.... Probably lose to zags
#20 Notre Dame @Miami @Virginia Tech.... Chance to lose both or at least 1
#19 Virginia: @Clemson.... Clemson is not bad, could very well beat VA at home
#18 Wisconsin: Ohio State.. Not gonna lose
#17 Purdue: @Iowa... Prob won't lose
#16 Arizona: Arizona State.. Prob win by 20
#15 Xavier: @villanove @Butler... Brutal

You can bet SMU is counting on getting the respect they deserve by taking down a top 25 team on their home floor.... Cats had better strap it on for this gameYea and I feel smu getting a little disrespected too (like always really).
They have won 10 straight.
2 top 50 kenpom wins
3 losses to top 100 teams
4 top 100 wins
And 26th in kenpom.
Yet received just 5 votes this week.
You can also tell the ap voters didn't wait to submit their poll. As they have USC still ranked who lost late last night to an average Cal team at home. They had 20 votes. Meaning 20 people submitted their ballot early.
That said. I think the top 25 had been really solid this year as in mostly being pretty consensus. It's a very solid top 20 and very hard to break into
Seems like this is the hardest place to move up. - lot of action just a little too far in front of us, if we could just work our way close to the top 15 I don't see us falling much.
