Torian Graham just retweeted a tweet that I tagged him in, saying he'd be a great fit here. Pretty cool, he must at least slightly agree.

Graham is a scoring 2 guard...Troy would get PG minutes with Guyn and the two would be manned by Johnson and Morman + Graham (theoretically).
we play to wings and a PG. Also unless Thomas improves the rest of this year i'm not handing him a spot. Troy will play PG backed up by Guyn. Wings will be a competition between Mormon,Johnson,Thomas and Sanders. If Graham comes he will certainly be in the mix.

I agree... he would def have a good shot at taking some of our current players minutes if he can create/finish/shoot as well as it seems...

but you never know till he plays in college...right?

I really hope we get Graham. We will desperately need some scoring from the 2-guard position next year and while I think KJ and Morman will both be good players, I doubt either are ready to step up and average 15 points per game. Graham could be that guy. Add Caupain, Lawrence, and Thomas to the mix with another year of experience and we would have 4 guys capable of averaging double figures. Last time we had that many capable scorers on the team, we went to the Sweet 16.

UNLV is the team we have to compete with for Torian. Yes Kentucky, Missouri and Florida are interested but have yet to offer. UK coaches can tell him all they want that they talk about him in every meeting however Cal has bigger priorities on his list and see Graham as a backup plan. It's obvious Cal like incoming high school kids and has cooled on JuCo kids since his days at Memphis. IMO once Torian gets on campus and see the amount of available playing time here we may be the favorite.

Well whatever game he attends, that place BETTER be packed. We did a great job with Lawrence last year (the big cardboard cutout, chanting "JERMAINE LAWRENCE", etc). Those things go a long way.

Funny you should mention the game Lawrence attended. I believe it was Wright State, I was there too. I remember the chant, but I also remember there were not many people there. Not sure what the attendance was, but it was kind of dead. I was surprised JL committed after that, I thought a bigger crowd would have more influence.

Wasn't that the same day Tubberville was hired? I know I was there for that one too, but might have it mixed up with another game.

Good question. I was at the game as well. I think that was the day Tommy was introduced, but was hired the previous day. Maybe? Not positive. But yeah, there were very few people there, I was confused Cronin wanted to bring him to that game. We also almost lost, which would've been pathetic and embarassing.

Okay, I think we really need him. He is a great athlete and a great shooter! The only thing in the way is UK. But I honestly think in the end we will end up getting him.

Will he have only 2 years of eligibility remaining?

if thats the case I can see that working against UK especially if their frosh don't pick up there play. If some of them return along with incoming freshmen this kid might not see the amount of playing time he is looking for with only 2 years of his career left....

Looks like a nice replacement for SK

That's what I'm thinking. Caupain was obviously meant to replace Cash with Guyn bridging the transition, and I've said before KJ reminds me a lot of Dion Dixon, but maybe a little more skilled. So perhaps Morman can play something like Parker and we'll have 4 good guards again next year like we did in 2011-12. :D

According to scout focus twitter Graham had this to say to them:

Just spoke w/ Chipola 6'4+ SG Torian Graham. Said he's avg'n 19.2 PPG on 55% from the field & his heart is set on Kentucky if they offer.
