I agree but Mick and the coaching staff know best and I trust them IF we get to that point.

Guyn under went surgery for a torn lamb rum today. Depending on the seriousness and rehab time he could redshirt next year but I don't think you'll see a senior who played as much as him last year transfer.

reinventing Guyn is not going to happen. His strong suit is defense that is why he played. If Mick thought he could get 11pts and 4 assist out of him he wouldn't be looking to bring in a pG for one year. Guyn's senior at that. If Caupain steps up his defense he will play the majority of minutes at PG. Really don't see Johnson coming here.

none of the players UC is going after as a 5th year are point guards. cronin is not looking to bring in a point guard for one year.

no one is getting pushed out by Cronin. if they bring in 3 guys it will be because a player transfers out by his own choice.

I'm surprised there's already a bunch of speculation about players transferring out of UC when nobody new has even committed here yet. We could very easily not get anybody.

There's a rumor out right now that we already have a commit or someone has told the staff they want to be a bearcat but it just hasn't been announced yet I think someone on here has said it a couple pages ago.

Just because the fans don't realize guys value doesn't mean he will be forced out. Mick obviously values his defense and if you weren't aware, mick likes his defense. And why would he let a 6'10 freshman walk for a guy he'll get 2 years out of?

No one wants to see a valuable piece let go for a virtually unknown commodity. Which is why doing it for a guy who has performed at the D-1 level makes sense. Your telling me for instance IF Graham and let's say DJ Newbill becomes bearcats and for arguments sake Bryce Jones does as well. You wouldn't trade Strickland maybe for what we know about Jones and Newbill even if only for a year or 2?

I don't want to look too far ahead, but in a couple years we could be looking at a frontcourt of:

PF - Lawrence (SR), Clark (JR)
C - Strickland (JR), Moore (JR)

That could be pretty special.

dude you listed out the 4 guys UC was recruiting, then said if they take 3 here is who will be "relieved" of his scholarship. Under no circumstances would 3 of those 4 come here together. Substitute whoever you want in for any of those guys mentioned- 3 of them aren't coming here together. It doesn't matter if it was the specific scenario you said or not. 3 of those 4 aren't happening. Not to mention you started fan speculation here about "who would have his scholarship pulled" which is ridiculous in and of itself.
