It's always been our dream to go to the same school.... y'all stay tune we making this a reality @Torian_Graham
----------------------------------

Josh McNeil is a Tight End committed to Florida State. The Seminoles recently let Graham's teammate Cinmeon Bowers out of his NLI, and have also been recruiting Torian Graham.

didnt they drop his scholly because of the whole weed thing that torian was apart of?

So if they dropped Bowers scholly for that incident , why would they still recruit Graham? Come on Graham just commit to UC so we can stop with the guessing games already

The two aren't really related, I don't know why I typed it like that. I was just saying they had been recruiting his teammate so maybe they'd been recruiting him as well....

when exactly did cronin publicly say a player could have his scholarship pulled? i need to see that quote if so. if said in the wrong context that is a recruiting pr death wish.

It was on his radio interview he said something like (cant remember exact words) we are looking to sign 2 guards (no big men) but if for some reason we sign 3 someone would have to transfer out or be relieved of there scolly.

There was no we are signing 3 we are all just saying if we do sign 3 who would go.

Florida state has been involved but I wouldn't get too bent out of shape about what his friend posted. He has other twitter friends post they know about his commitment and post pics of a UC jersey so only torian really knows.

I will post it I was joking ^^^

We all know:
Bryce Jones
Ronnie Johnson

Hearing DJ Newbill and possibly Eron Harris.

How come when I google "DJ Newbill transfer" I don't get any results about him transferring this year? Has he announced he will be transferring?

Nothing has been announced yet but feeling at PSU is he is leaving. Nothing official right now just a strong rumor going around recruiting circles.

Torians chip will fall soon within a week or two I would guess. When it comes to transfers or 5th year guys it's a waiting game.

When and by whom?

Ive gone through 5 pages on google...yea i didnt know you could do that either, and still havent seen it mentioned.

Were we ever in on Elijah stewart? 6-5 four star guard just asked for and was granted his release from his LOI to Loyola Mariemont

i listened to the podcast of his radio show earlier this morning on the way to work and he literally made no mention of signing 3 guys. talked about 2 scholarships, looking for perimeter help, and that their roster breakdown right now is 6 perimeter-5 post. he used to think in the big east he needed to be 7 perimeter and 6 post, but now he thinks 8 perimeter and 5 post.

I wouldn't be terribly surprised if Guyn wanted to leave, but I don't see him doing it. His father said that he was struggling this year and that he was hanging around in town to be there for his son. I heard that second hand so take that FWIW. The thing is he started all year so it's not like he's riding pine. Maybe the prospect of losing his starting spot is tough on him, but I don't think he'd want to sit a year and go somewhere with one year left. I don't think Mick would push Guyn out the door. If his play was bad enough that he doesn't see him contributing next year he wouldn't have continued to start all year. As far as Strickland goes, I think Mick isn't the type of guy to hang a guy out to dry like that. Strickland already lost one of his five years to play four. If he has to sit a transfer year he would lose a year of playing time. He might would get a hardship waiver if UC just outright released him. But again I don't think Mick is that type of guy. I think he could sell Gaines on transferring because he wasn't going to play here and since he had graduated already he could go somewhere and play immediately. I will say that when we recruited and signed Strickland we didn't have Moore and Clark and DeBerry coming in, so logically I could see how Strickland could become expendable, but again I don't think Mick is the type of coach to just move a player if it doesn't benefit the player.

This is out of left field but I could see Shaq being the most likely to be pushed out if someone were to be pushed out (and again I don't see anyone being pushed out). He is the one that Mick has had the most frustrations with and doesn't seem to be adapting to his system. He has already sat out a year so he would lose a year without a hardship waiver, but since we're just speculating on Mick shoving a guy out the door he makes more sense to me than anyone.

It will be very interesting to see how he plays next season. He no longer has SK to hide behind; its his fourth year in the program and time to step up. He averaged 6.8 and 2.8 in 23 minutes per game this season; that just won't cut it.

I agree. He needs to get stronger which I think he will. He's not going to bulk up but he can add strength. The problem with me for a guy like Shaq is his game doesn't translate to the slower paced style that we always fall back on. His attributes are his jumping ability and maybe beating a man one-on-one off the dribble, which he shows some with a nice spin move or dribble fake, but he loses the ball making a move as much as he doesn't at this point. In the half-court and with college defenses those attributes can be nullified. His defense has improved, especially on his man. He still gets lost on switches, which doesn't help him stay on the court with our defensive style. That can be taught in theory, it's on him to grasp it though. I hate to say it, but honestly I see Morman and KJ being able to give us what he does in as many minutes, especially with athletes like Lawrence and Clark flying around like we want Shaq to. KJ is obviously smaller which is important, he doesn't really fit the three mold. My point is give KJ or Morman 23 minutes and tell me they won't average at least 7 a game. On the opposing side, SK is gone so 23 minutes next year for Shaq and he'll probably by default take more shots and thus score more.
