I know this is reading waaay too far into it, but he hasnt tweeted anything about us for a while. He was also tweeting to an FSU football commit who doesnt go to his JC. Like I said, (I need to get a life and) I'm probably reading too much into it, but the fact that he seems to still be undecided makes me nervous.

FWIW, Josh McNeil (the FSU football commit) played on DC Assault with Graham in high school. Think that's their connection.

Yeah, guess it's possible. Would think he wouldn't have problems getting playing time here, so not sure what would make Houston appealing from a basketball standpoint (maybe Sampson), especially with them losing Thomas and House. Guess we'll find out soon enough on his situation in the next week or so.
 
Like I said this has been an Obekpa like recruitment. Everyone thought he was a UC lean and then another school comes out of the blue (Oregon for Obekpa and now Houston for Graham). I have to wonder if the staff backed off him and are pursuing other transfers...

I really don't think Obekpa's recruitment and Graham's are alike at all. Everyone on here assumed Graham was coming here because he retweeted some UC fans. There has been nothing from Graham himself or his coaches regarding his recruitment. The only other thing people based it on was basically one cryrstal ball prediction by Jerry Meyer, which led to a couple others doing the same.

Obekpa actually had his guardian/coach/handler update his recruitment quite frequently. He actually visited here (had a great game atmosphere too). St. John's didn't come out of the blue, either. It was pretty much always 1A and 1B with them.

Oregon came out of the blue at the last minute and got him on campus for a visit. At that point we knew UC was out of it....

Also Mick's brother was claiming that Graham was going to come to UC as well.
 
Maybe if the speculation were true that he wanted to commit to UC and UC told him to wait then that turned him off. I heard some chatter on here about that. I think if UC wanted him and he said he wanted to come here, especially with two schollys open we would be dumb not to offer and accept a verbal from him. I took that rumor with a grain of salt as it was, but like I said if it were true he wanted to come here and UC said to wait then I would'nt blame him at all for looking at new schools.

If Cronin was as sold on Graham as everyone here seemingly is then there would be a commitment by now.
 
Seems like there is constant indecision with this kid's recruitment. If he wants to go to Houston and gets trounced by our Cats twice a year, thats his choice.

I don't want to look too far ahead, but in a couple years we could be looking at a frontcourt of:

PF - Lawrence (SR), Clark (JR)
C - Strickland (JR), Moore (JR)

That could be pretty special.
