You do realize the fact that it got to the point where they had to turn it back on=Micks fault, right? He is the one that is suppose to keep the players focused. The players didn't lose that game, Mick lost it.

I expect this nonsense from X fans because the highest sports IQ they can muster is a simple understanding of the game checkers, but dear god not from UC fans.

Okay, you're right. Mick has done a wonderful job. Even though the majority of the people who sit around me at the shoe feel the same way as mea nd the other 8K fans who no longer come have chosen to voice their opinion by not spending money on tickets. People are not bought into Mick, nor should they be. Let's just keep saying that Mick walked into a terrible situation so we shouldn't expect big things from him and just accept that we should be a mediocre program. After all, it's just UC. We're not big time so we shouldn't expect it, right?

Funny thing is while Mick has been struggling to keep his head above water the last 6 years other programs in similar or worse situations have been thriving because they pulled the trigger on the right head coaching hire. I guess we just can't expect to compete at the same level as schools like Arizona, Memphis and Baylor.

If you are satisfied with where this team is, then I question your fan hood. Enough about us. It is perfectly fair to question a coaches philosphy and character, especially when that coach has not lived up to expectations. By year 6 I expected a sold out shoe and an exciting Bearcat team. The buzz in this city has been nothing but Indiana had a similar scenario and they are now 8-0.

I find it funny, each time I get on here and try to debate, the first things that come up are; You are not a fan or look where this program was when Mick took it over. Thats great, but that was now 6 years ago. There are things I see that should not happen in year 1! Lack of recruiting a shooter, weak offensive sets, scoring droughts, and lack of player focus. When 1 guy is lazy its on that player, but when you have 3 or 4 guys who are "lazy" that falls on Mick.

My apologies for being a winner and competitor. Sub par effort and coaching does not sit well with me. I do not accept losing to Presb. and Marshall, then make excuses or claim Marshall is a good team. They should beat them down. You are the University of Cincinnati. Bring Catitude back

Hate to break it to you, but I am in line for HUggins In, you can have Cinci pro sports, as long as you allow good, quality discussion about the cyclones.
