Wrong about what? the fact that Mick isn't good enough to change a kids attitude? The fact that he is the main reason Yancy isn't in the NBA right now and never will be? No doubt about it- Yancy made the wrong decision. Mick isn't a good enough coach to beat Presbyterian at Home...Explain.

You know it was getting bad when Ralph (You didn't post much when he was posting) starting criticizing Mick.
 
Does it piss anyone off that Mick left UC to coach at Louisville? A rival school. HUGE Slap in the face to UC

I put at lot of the burden for Yancy's struggles on Mick. Mick has done a terrible job with the development of Yancy. A lot of Yancy's problems have been brought on by himself and he should have made the choice to play away from home and play for a coach that would have demanded more out of him. He did himself a huge dis-service by deciding to stay here and play for Mick.

Pres was a fluke.

You just cant admit Mick is the better coach. Its astonishing. Our defense will be three best x has seen all year.

As evidenced by purdue, you guys turn it over all the time. That means easy buckets for us. Mick knows this and will exploit your weakness

As evidence by Purdue...Xavier just wins games. UC was up 15 on Presbyterian and lost. :eek: That is all on the coach, my friend. Good coaching won't allow a comeback like that...especially to a team that has just 5 RPI top 200 wins ever coming into the game. Humiliating. Xaviers bench would destroy them (seriously)UC couldn't even get a win.

What about losing to a team that OHIO UNIVERSITY beat? The major difference, UC lost on their home court...Ohio University beat them on THEIR court!!! WHAT THE?

You know it's bad when before the season started everyone was talking about a possible top 10 matchup between X and UC, and the only question was if X would be there, because UC had such a soft schedule they would certainly be there. Now, UC has not one, but two losses on that soft schedule. Way to hold up your end, bearcats.
 
K-court, you are right. I thought Marshall could be a decent team and might not be a bad loss. Then I saw Ohio University beat them...what a Joke

I hate Xavier more than anything in the world (besides maybe OSU football and the St. Louis Cardinals) and I hate Xavier fans. The problem is that I can't even argue this statement. You're 100% correct. Our coach has done such a miserable job with this team that I'm in a position that I can't even argue with a Xavier fan. Up to this point in the season we've been a terrible team and this should be a top 10 matchup. The problem is that we aren't a top 10 team (not sure X is either) but we aren't even a top 50 team.

When will people WAKE UP? 4K - 6K fans is not acceptable, 1 tourney in 6 seasons in not acceptable, excuses for reasons why you can't do your job are not acceptable, the lack of player development is not acceptable, losing to Presbyterian and Marshall on your home floor is not acceptable.

MICK IS A BUM, win or lose on Saturday he's still a BUM. The guy is never going to get us back to where we need to be. The sooner Whit fires him the better, and I beleive Whit will fire Mick, because he'll realize that he can't make any money off this team until he does.

I'm not one to argue with our own fans, but you are f'ing clueless. Seriously, I know its the internet and all and you are entitled to your opinion, just know that you are an idiot!

I expect this nonsense from X fans because the highest sports IQ they can muster is a simple understanding of the game checkers, but dear god not from UC fans. :eek:

Needless to say, I have never understood why UC fans brag about being in the Big East. Maybe because the team is so bad you want something to brag about? I honestly don't know. It is sad, no doubt about it. You know its bad when you brag about your conference rather then your team.

Count your blessings that you don't play in a league with Marshall or The Blue Hose. Things could get ugly if you were.

Yeah, UC fans always like to brag about the Big East, but what they fail to understand, is they do NOTHING to help the Big East's image. It's like bragging about something one of your friends did, even though you had nothing to do with it.

I have no doubts that fans from other teams in the Big East lump UC in with the bottom feeders of the conference.

How much does it suck cheering for your conference come tournament time, when everyone else is cheering for their own team?

I know you have never posted here so let me give you a run down.

Kcourt and I are the outsiders looking at UC situation objectively and let the UC guys know how the rest of the world looks at them. Ralph (bearcatMick) blindly supports UC- even though he has shown extreme frustrations at the lack of recruiting.

Also, not sure if you have ever attended a game or not- but the beauty of this years shootout for UC is if they lose, only about 4-5,000 people will be care
