I can’t believe it! One minute until game time & there are at least 300 empty student seats. One of the 3 sections has about 20 kids- the other 2 are 1/2 full - how pathetic- free & they can’t freaking be bothered to show up!

Was at game. While it wasnt full capacity it was loud and about 3/4 full. Halftime show with those kids was absolutely awesome.

No excuse for that pathetic showing by the students....oh except the pathetic choice by UC to play home games at NKU instead of at the banks.

So you would have rather played at half-empty arena for every home game and paid $10-20 to park, just so it could be at the banks? As opposed to playing in a sold-out, much nicer/newer arena?

I actually don't blame the students at all. I am overjoyed that there is only one more game in the commonwealth. It took over 1.5 hours to get to my seats last night. The traffic getting in and out and the game make it take 4-5 hours, like a college football game. Only highland heights could make a crowd of 8200 people look like 80K. Great civil engineering to have a highway dead end into a 4 lane road with a university and arena at the cusp.

Sold out? Have you been to a game. Or you just referring to the number of seats sold since it's smaller?

Yes - I would have much rather played this season at US Bank arena. NKU is in the middle of nowhere and they still haven't figured out traffic. It's not a good experience.

I have to agree with you. I do like the arena but I hate the drive especially for the weekday 1900 hrs start times. Traffic is difficult. All that said once i'm in my seat and the game is on I forget the negatives. Very much looking forward to being back on campus.

That is until you are sitting in your car waiting 45 minutes to get out of campus

Look as a person who occasionally buys non alcoholic drinks at basketball games, i for one am so glad its at BB&T just for the simple fact that we don't have to drink RC cola.

Thats some shit I drank when I grew up in Poverty.

NKU ALL DAYY ERRRRY DAY.

F RC Cola

Hahaha I also drank my share of RC back in my young days in Cheviot. At family parties the women would drink Diet Rite. Lol.

Yes, watching the game is nice...except for the crowds being so bad this year. But it seems like a chore instead of an event.
