The last 8 minutes of offense weren't impressive, but that doesn't even register on the scale of dominance shown tonight.

Anybody trying to find negatives tonight is an idiot.

although i have not pointed any weaknesses out, i disagree 100%.

nothing wrong with never being satisfied and always wanting to be better.

When you're up that big late in a game, it's hard to keep focused. Keep playing hard, keep improving. Love what Dixon said, “Good win, (But) we ain’t stopping here.’’

So I was driving back to Columbus last night with my wife and baby trying to listen to the game on 700WLW up near Toledo when my left rear tire blew at 75 miles per hour on the highway. Fortunately I was able to keep the car under control and we were ok. Unfortunately we had to wait 2 hours for my dad to get there with his full size spare because we had to use ours a couple weeks ago when another tire blew (this one at low speed) and I didn't have a chance to buy another tire. Looks like I am going to new tires tomorrow morning. The tire blew in 6 different spots! Once on the inner wall and 5 times on the outer wall (including directly across from the inner wall defect). Looks like we hit a nail and it started a slow leak. The tire heated up so much that it melted the belt among other things in the interior of the tire. It is kind of nuts. Any way, I didn't get home until almost 2AM and only heard that the Bearcats kicked some ass. Can anyone give me a bit more of an overview and how specific players played? I know Dixon had a good game and Yancy was in early foul trouble. Other than that I don't know much. Thanks!

I was really impressed with the Cats performance. Two plays impressed me the most. Both Thomas and Jackson got the ball under the basket, and immediately slammed it home. That is another difference from previous years. Starting with Adam H, the Cats have been so weak under the basket, and usually missing bunnies. Not last night, and hopefully not in the future. Lets hope these boys continue to play with intensity and aggression, and start to redevelop their swagger.
Go Bearcats!

sorry to hear about that man but yeah the negatives are few and far between.

gates-biggest disappointment got into foul trouble couple baskets in the first couple minutes and that was that

dixon- flawless game. shot 3-6 from three and 7-12 from the field best player on the court last night

cash-didn't look for his shot at all but didn't force anything. some nice cuts to the basket for a couple lay ups. good game manager but hopefully looks for shot more in the future

wilks- some good hustle but other than that nothing special

parker- another game manager didn't contribute at all

jackson-great hustle as always one great cut to the basket and got a dunk outta it. didn't force anything but he will need to improve his hands let too many balls slip away

bishop- excellent first half didn't show up other than a couple minutes. shot dead on from three and had some nice mid range moves i love him driving to the paint and doing his head fakes and throwing up a floater

kilpatrick-didn't get much playing time until the second half but hit his first two threes and that was it for him

overall pretty flawless game would have liked to see more points but obvious not the type of style we play and we threw the towel mid way through the second half. very impressive win excellent defense. i could type all day about how impressive that was to watch

Gates was in foul trouble to start that game. Those refs were horrible on both sides of the ball. They called I believe 14 fouls in the first five minutes of the game, most of which should've been no calls. With Gates size and the fact that he was in position to play defense it was inevitable for him to be on the bench early. Anytime a player left his feet in the first ten minutes of that game there was a foul called. I was not dissapointed in Gates with picking up those fouls. Just bad luck.

With that said, this team has a considerable size disadvantage when Gates leaves the floor. Wilks and Jackson get manhandled by even the weakest of power forwards. Gates really needs to play smart this year and Jackson really needs to hit the weights.

Wow... dixon played very well, i hope he does not fall in love with the 3 pt shot all year because his athleticism and mid range jump shot are pretty good.. Uc needed a win like this, i have not watched Dayton alot this year but know that they are always a tough out. A couple more cupcakes and then OKLAHOMA. OK is in a rebuilding stage, and i think UC will handle them pretty easily also... Never know could go into Big East season undefeated... Go Cats!!!!

Guys, I was out of town in Illinois since Saturday afternoon. Heard about the game saturday night but this is the first chance I've had to get on here...

WOW. What a game!!!!

This is VERY encouraging for the rest of the season. The team and fanbase needs to capitalize off of this and keep the ball rolling. Develop, work hard and get better!
