Needed some big clutch shots down the stretch to pull out the win but they werent necessary. UC was up 5 with 2 mins left and had 6 team fouls with the worst FT shooter in CBB on the opposing team and didnt foul. Having Fall shoot a 1-1 is basically a turnover. Wish Mick would have fouled him last 2 mins of half and regulation. 15 Tacko FT's are 8 turnovers.

Maybe that's the strategy they'll use in the game in Florida. I don't see the hack-a-anyone really that much in college, but surely at the end there it would have been a reasonable option.

I think Mick is really trying to get them to play the game right and foul as little as possible while still challenging everything.

For as low a scoring game as it was I found it really exciting. Hoping we can just keep this winning streak going. They are hitting just one tough game after another now, so if anything they'll be battle tested once the tournament comes.

With Cumberland out-of-rhythm (didn't score a FG all 2nd half) I don't think we could've afforded to have had an extra non-shooter/non-scorer on the floor. Also glad we got so many minutes out of Brooks last night (especially after he picked up his 4th foul) versus having to play Nsoseme more.

I think this game gave some confidence to some other guys that we can still win even when Cumberland doesn't score 25-30 points. I though UCF did a great job smothering him all game and Jarron contributed other ways than just scoring. Keith and Justin stepped up huge and I couldn't be more happy for a guy like Jenifer to hit such a big shoot like that to seal the game. He has improved so much since his freshman year and its been so fun seeing his improvement.

Well many of UCF's opponents do, FT's vs NKU he was 6/15, 2/10 vs ECU, 9/21 vs USF, 3/7 vs Houston. It is his glaring weakness, worst FT shooter in CBB
