Will unfortunately be at work...but not working, watching this game instead, how can u not expect bearcats pull out this game, there a team of destiny and on a mission, there will lose one maybe two more regular season games but tonight will not be one!!

I like the way we match up with UConn. Honestly, I like the way we match up with all 4 of the other good teams in the conference. I don't necessarily think we will run through the rest of the conference undefeated, but I will go into every game with the expectation of being able to win it.

He's on my s**t list right now for not listing UC as a title contender, but he is a good analyst. I'll get over it... some time next season.

The line has been bet to 6.

I hope that is their strategy as it goes away from their biggest strength, the perimeter. Daniels, for example, shoots 48% from 3. He only shoots 47% from 2.

As a team, they shoot 41.5% from 3. That's the equivalent of over 62% from 2. They only shoot 49% from 2. Not to mention, our 2 point defense is one of the best in the country.

Our goal should be to keep them off the three point line. We can only hope they comply willingly.
 
Sk vs Napier, thats a huge battle between two of the best players in the country, two winners who take over when their team needs them. Im feeling a big win from SK.

If...IF...you told me we could win only one of our next two games...this would be the game I would choose. There is a lot on the line. A winning streak, undefeated home record, keep a two game lead in conference, another ranked opponent, seeding, etc etc.

After getting into the top 10 for the first time I would really like our first game to be a win. It's going to take smart BB but I think we have been playing smarter as the season has progressed.
 
This reminds me of the Georgetown game last year. UConn is running some pretty good offense and getting the shots they want. When UC isn't turning the ball over they are getting lay ups...

Seriously. Our defense isn't bad the problem is UConn has scored on every turnover we have had it seems. Doesn't help when we can't make a layup with two UConn players laying on the court. Ay ay ay

Just too many wasted possessions on offense. We look horrid on fast break transition. Can't finish anything.

UConn is abusing sanders. Everytime they get him in a 1:1 they like, they take him and score
 
How many points does UConn have off our turnovers? I can't stand Napier and Boatwrights head fakes acting like they get fouled all the time. Kevin Ollie annoys me too. He always looks like he is whining about something.
 
I think UC is a little too overconfident in their ability to block shots at the rim. UConn guards finish too well around the basket to swat/alter every shot. UC's defense has allowed too much penetration...
 
We are not playing smart BB right now. We are pressing for some reason. We need to relax and make sure we get off good shots. We have hit the backside of the backboard 3 times. We have turned it over in the lane or been easily blocked several times.

Just play smart UC BB. Take time to get a good shot and play good D. If we have to take a last second shot to beat the shot clock so be it. It's better than wasting an early shot with no rebounders.
