Former #Bearcats guard @DDixon3 is in the house tonight for the #blackout

Nice to hear Dion was in the house, underrated Bearcat.

Daang I missed that. That's awesome. This was also the 2nd game in a row Pete Rose was there. Showing some west side love for Cronin. Gotta love the support people are showing right now. I just want it to be consistent.

George Clooney has been a fan of Bearcats this year!

I couldn't get over a) how nice Clooney was and b) how much he knows about college hoops. Big UK fan, impressed w Cincy and Kansas

I hate to say this but...who cares whot Clooney thinks?

The Bearcats had !5 assists tonight and shot 46%. If they had shot fts like normal it would have been a double digit win or right at it.

Love this quote from Cronin after the game!

"We have to continue to be a dirty work team. When we try to get pretty, we get beat"

'Nuff said coach!

What a game. What a win. What a crowd.

Sk with an unbelievable performance. Arguably top 5 player in the country currently.

After his last 5 games I think he has made up his mind that the ncaa will have to include his on the next wooden award finalist list

Raise your hand if you knew that Sean Kilpatrick's ORtg, per @kenpom, is 0.1 pts better than Doug McDermott's? #crickets #tumbleweeds

...and this was before his 8/15, 26 points and 6 assists performance tonight.

I can't believe I am saying this but TC had another ho hum game (at best)...and GG had another solid game. I don't know why...but TC is starting to become a TO machine. That wasn't always the case.

GG is playing solid. He makes a few shots. He's not turning it over. I feel he is a BIG reason we won this game tonight. I think we lose if TC had too many minutes TONIGHT.

GG was a critical factor tonight. All season I had to defend him against all you Caupain lovers who were calling for Troy to get the maximum minutes, start, etc. Hopefully, you all now see what it's all about. GG has grown into the point guard roll. Forget his stats and percentages. His lock down defense makes him as valuable on the floor as Titus. Napier could barely get a shot off tonight, nor could Boatright. The few times they scored, GG got blocked out (sometimes by his own teammates). He now has the confidence to shoot, too (although I think he passed up a few shots he should have taken including one nice drive). Caupain will grow, too, but we don't need him tossing the ball away trying to make low percentage passes.
Good game GG!
Go Cats!

G has played unbelievable lately... He has started hitting some shots... I wish he would finish a little better around the rim. Go up strong...

His play as of late definitely deserves some props.

Another BCN transplant...place was way too dead after the latest game not enough excitement for me!

Being at that game, wow, energy level to the max. That has got to be a tough place to come expecting a win! Little bit shocked on the final numbers of attendance too - upper corners looked bare. Where were we stuffing them all?

Napier post game:

"I just had a bad shooting night. They definitely were playing good defense but they were getting away with a lot of cheap fouls but sometimes you have to deal with that."

What a crybaby. I'm glad he'll be gone next year. I like Kevin Ollie and never had a problem with UConn, but I can't stand Napier.

He sure does. Love how SK ended it saying thanks Mr. Greenberg. What a class act.

Absolutely. After watching that interview I couldn't help but smile. What an amazingly wonderful representative of Cincinnati and our university! The kid has an All-American attitude. In a weird way, I feel a sense of pride towards him. Great, great Bearcat.

Well when you try and sell a foul every dribble you take the refs know you are crying wolf. That comment by him shows his low intellect and lack of respect for his opponent. Hope he enjoys being 5-4 in the American.

Watching ESPN this morning. We actually got real recognition from them. I guess all we had to do is win 15 in a row for them to acknowledge us. Who knew it was that simple lol ;)

Just getting to read up and trying to get my voice back after that great game last night. Crowd was unreal, I have not felt that energy in some time. Student sections were packed and the rafters were rocking!!! I think we are all seeing what leadership can do and how in time you begin to understand peoples rationale. People were on GG and wanted TC to get his minutes early. I love TC and think he will be a great Bearcat, but experience is something you can not teach and GG has risen to that level. I enjoy watching our seniors gather the young kids after they mess up and offer them guidance, that is priceless in basketball and as people in the world. This is such a fun team to watch on all levels, proud of our Bearcats!

Wow, what a game to be at and experience. The first half had me concerned with the lack of offensive rebounding and letting the UCONN guards drive, but this team never gives up, they kept fighting, tightened up the defense and pulled it out.

Other than the obvious (SK, Jack and Coaching), I give a lot of credit for this win to Gelawn Guyn, the young man played lock down defense on Napier most of the second half, kept him running and working hard on and off the ball, you could just see Napier getting frustrated. I'm going to propose a new name for G, The Glove. We could call him G3 or 3G or just the Glove, with that D he deserves it.

It's great to see different players step up each night and even the ones on the bench stay in the game. Even though Shaq was benched most of the second half for poor D and being lazy getting back, he was cheering and the first one to high five the guys coming into a time out, same for KJ even though he didn't see the floor, these guys truly get what it is to be a team and understand their roles. It's fun to watch and a breath of fresh air.

This team is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Who would have though that after our first 4 games with U of L, SMU, Memphis and UConn we'd already be guaranteed a split of the 8 games with those 4?

Right now I'm excited about where this team can go.

I liked seeing him dive for loose balls. He's buying into the B-Cat culture.

Lots of contributions. Kilpatrick was great last night. As far as Lawrence was concerned other than him getting on the floor for a loose ball he was absolutely abused on defense. His immaturity showed. It was definately a mans game last night. I just hope he can improve with each showing and eventually be a factor.
