SK was here for "5" years. His significant improvement didn't happen till year 5 when he finally improved his dribbling enough to allow him to attack the basket and draw fouls. Again, you can't practice every single day for 4 or 5 years and play all the games without improving a little. We're talking Kenyon Martin-like, Bobby Brannen-like, Steve Logan like, Ryan Fletcher-like improvement. SK did improve in his last year and so did Justin Jackson. It's more of a big-picture general comment than specific. Most always improve some, just from the practice and games.

I understand your point L-T but here are some SK numbers.

He started averaging 35 minutes in his soph season through his Senior season. Would I like to see more players improving noticeably? Sure.

I already looked at his minutes.

He flat lined on all other stats other than points

no rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, etc none...zero

Last 7 games Johnson is averaging 15.1 minutes 4.3 points 0.4 rebounds 0.4 assists 0.4 steals 0.0 blocks 1.6 turnovers and 34.6 FG%.

Quadri Moore needs to play more. He actually understands how to get post position and seal his man. His defense has come a long way too.

I followed him for a good portion of his minutes. That's the best I've seen him look and he didn't really even look to score. He was hustling, setting picks, playing D, rebounding, making crisp passes, getting up and down the court. For the first time it looked like he was really a part of this team and I for one was very surprised by it and glad to see it.

Another player that has improved under Mick's tutelage...LOL!!

There were a lot more than weight room updates. Perhaps your memory is failing you right now. There were a lot of reasons mentioned. You seemed to glob onto the weight room issue as if someone...shit ANYONE...thought that was THE reason we were going to be good. Be honest with yourself...

It's easy to pile on right now. But we are literally 3 possessions from being a top 10 team. Is that an excuse? Sure. But that's how close we are. All we need is for the light to come on somewhere. The coach...the players...something....anything.
only Cobb had skills training
updates. Still point is our main improvement Chad fed you guys to pay for his site was weight room pics.

I doubt Quadri will be rewarded. If Ellis and DeBerry don't foul, Moore is likely headed right back to the bench with Jenifer.

he's footwork miles ahead of other bigs. Made difference Evans was in game and can actually pass into post

Yeah I said it last night during the game. He was giving us more than Ellis. Never dreamed I could ever say that. It's great for Moore, but what an indictment on Ellis.

I even asked for Moore to get real playing time last. Can you imagine where he'll be with playing time and coaching. Keep telling you all the man dominated karl Anthony towns

Ellis was trying. Just need better IQ to understand the game flow

I can't argue those numbers.. I guess I'm back to the eye test again. It just didn't feel like he was improving that much until he had that breakout season.

All Ellis had to do was box a guy out to win that game. He even had position.

He did box out other guy the jumped higher and went harder. Ellis legs are weak. He has ZERO explosiveness this year. He tries but we might got fooled on the talent level

He wasn't very good his junior season. Part of it was because Cash got hurt.

There is so many bad shots taking by this team. That that shot didn't hurt us. We went back up. It's very funny how you all blame the players when all in all it's Coach. I've seen this picture time and time again.
