Bottom line is some players have gotten better, some have stayed about the same, and I think one has actually gotten worse.
I personally don't think NOBODY has gotten worse. Everybody has improved. Thing is that mostly all returning players from every team got better also. We wasn't ONLY team working hard in summer

I believe Ellis and Caupain will come out firing on all cylinders. Put up or shut up game for the both of em. You want to be recognized as the best beat the best players and team.

Im really intrigued about the Keith Frazier Situation.

He is still not with the team which leads me to believe that he wont play against us thursday.

Man, that guy has been a mess for SMU and his production, whiles sometimes really good, does not even come close to all the drama and headache he's caused

BREAKING: Keith Frazier has left SMU's basketball program, sources told @CBSSports.

They are down to just 7 scholarship players. We need to find a way to wear them out and get guys in foul trouble. Also need to somehow keep them off the offensive glass. I fear that we'll play solid first shot defense but give up too many second shots.

If Clark gets in foul trouble we will have a serious problem on the boards.

Hopefully is messes with SMU's head and throws them off their game. That is a big loss for a team who only plays 6 guys. We need to take advantage of this.

Agreed. We need a big game from him. We need aggressiveness from him and Evans.

I Agee as well. After his best game Evans has been underwhelming in his last two. We need him to be aggressive and try to make something happen off the dribble.

Just so you know, "I don't think NOBODY has gotten worse" means you think they've all gotten worse. Double negatives can be a handful sometimes.

I'm surprised Evans only shoots 40% inside the arc. I really didn't think it would be that low because he seems to have a well balanced offensive game.

....The most natural shot on the team!

Evans, Cobb, and KJ are all 40% or below inside the arc. Jenifer (47.6%) and Caupain (49.3%) are the only ones that have been effective when shooting 2's.

Cobb could probably shoot less shots off the bounce just inside the arc. He did shoot 46% from 2 last year (although 33% from 3 last year, so I'll take that trade).

I would reduce that little baseline floater that he does. He has air-balled a number of those.

It seems to me he hits the back of the iron on a lot of his misses. Might be a little too jacked up. That is something that I'm sure he will adjust to over time. I don't worry about his shooting at all. I hope he shoots more so he makes that adjustment sooner.
