Just keep getting it close to the basket from here on out. Draw the fouls ans hit free throws.

Ugly, ugly win. Glad we got the W but if we keep playing down to these lesser opponents, we will get burned eventually.

I'm sure they will get worked in practice this week. Time to refocus and hopefully get Lawrence back for a tough 3 day stretch against UCONN and SMU.

Take the win and move on. This team doesn't wilt in the last few minutes. The seniors carried them in the second half. If USF played all their games like the way they play us, they would be a potential tourney team. Perry is going to be good.

Thank God that it is over. I hope we don't see this team again in the conference tournament.

On to UConn. That will be a big time game on Thursday, need to hold home court advantage.

I am going to pretend this game never happened and just be glad that we won. Turnovers, defensive rebounding, and our offense in general was horrible. This looked like last years team. Part of it is on Mick-we need more Caupain and Shaq when we aren't shooting well. Shaq needs to be more aggressive, but he needs to be on the court in order to be aggressive.

For whatever reason USF plays with a ton of confidence against us. After the last game Rudd said they should have won and that he couldn't wait to play us again. I was surprised that so many people thought this would be a blowout. It's always a slow, agonizing grind against USF.

Mick said we badly need Lawrence back and I agree. Right now there is too much on the plates of Rubles and Jackson. Those two are getting worn down...

I thought we'd be able to press them a lot more effectively. They did a good job of breaking it though. Mick said they didn't press "with emotion."

Big frontlines give us trouble. USF always seems to play us tough anyway -Much like UAB back in the C-USA days. Lots of top teams got upset this weekend. The potential for an upset was there coming off the draining win at L'ville.

I'll gladly take a win on a day when Shaq, Sanders, Rubles, and Caupain combined to shoot a horrific 3-19 against a bad defense.

I'd agree. Outside of the one steal and dunk by Shaq it was ineffective. It basically turned into their guard beating our defender for multiple 5 on 4 opportunities.

I know USF always plays us tough, but I guess I went with my heart over my head. I want to believe this is a legitimate national title contender, so I'm starting to expect blowouts against the bottom half of the league. Unfortunately that still hasn't come to fruition. Hopefully it was the hangover from the Louisville game and we can re-juice before UConn.

If you want a team that can advance deep in the tournament I'd argue that finding a way to win in the final minutes was more beneficial than winning by 40, not that any of us want to see games like that. We all have to remind ourselves that this is a bubble team that his risen to the top 10. This isn't a loaded roster that scares you on paper. Also, they are not going to blow a lot of teams out because of the lack of possessions throughout a game. You have to love the way this team finishes late in games because that is often what decides things in March.

Survive and move on. This team needs some rest. Big game Thursday against UConn and then the quick turnaround traveling to Dallas to play SMU Satuday night. Gonna be a tough week. Today was frustrating to watch, especially since the crowd was so pumped up before the game. I thought that energy would feed onto the court. We looked tired and with a team we match up bad against I'll take the win and not look back.

on a Sunday at 12 against a lesser team getting the w is all that matters. Saw lawrence warming up he looked 100 percent. Sk shows up when we need him most. Cant wait for Thursday its going to be rocking or tomorrow for those new rankings, i think we will be #7

This game scared me. I hate playing USF. For whatever reason we just cant seem to get in a flow against them. With all the upsets this weekend I'm just glad we won. Hoping for a split this week.
