Kobe has won 2 championships without a top 50 player along his side. When MJ didn't have a top 50 player by his side how did he do? (With the Washington Wizards). Did the Wiz make the playoffs with MJ? I honestly don't know...it was pretty forgetable.

I'm sorry, but blanket statements like "not a top 50 player" leave the field so open, it's a joke. When Jordan didn't have a top 50 player around, he also didn't have Ray Allen to shoot 8 fking 3's in game 2 against Boston, to bail him out like Kobe, or Derek Fischer to get 11 points in the 4th of game 3(I think?). In fact, how can you even credit Kobe with the 2010 championship? He played like feces almost all of that series.
That's just dishonest. Yeah, they beat an aged Celtics squad, on a couple ridiculous effort performances. None of that was Kobe's doing though.

Did you actually watch the games?

If Kendrick Perkins didn't get hurt I do not think the Lakers win that game 7. While I still believe Kobe is an excellent players the Boston Celtics controlled him completely in that series.

Its not blank statement. Its true- MJ never won a title without one of the best ever by his side. (top 50=one of best ever, easily). Kobe has...in fact, Kobe has won two. That is all I am saying. Could MJ have won it all without an all time great by his side? we will never know.

Or was Pippen an "all time great" BECAUSE he was playing with Michael Jordan? Scottie Pippen was a good player who became great playing with MJ in my opinion.

I dont know, Pippen lead the bulls to a 56 win season and was third in MVP voting the year MJ was trying baseball. That's pretty impressive

Yes, it is. Do you know how many players who have played, are never and will never be in the top 50?
Are they all equal? No. I'm sorry, but bs...
Kobe was handed a title in 2010, by better players than were around Jordan, in his latter career. That comparison is rubbish.
