Are you watching full games that show his faults or are you just watching highlight videos where they piece together all of his good plays. You have no idea how to evaluate talent nor do you have the resources to do so even if you did. We all know how I feel about your opinions and once again you just are wrong. Troy Caupain received high praise from Jay Williams, Doug Gotlieb, and Jay Bilas for how good of a player he was as a freshman and how good he is going to be. I'll take their opinion over yours. Also its not a waste of a scholarship. We need a PG to back up Troy when G leaves and we have a depth issue at the 2. It would allow troy or G to move to the 2 in certain situations next year.

SIZE and the fact that he not probably the most athletic. He looks pretty quick and plays smart so grades shouldn't been issue. Main reason though probably is size. Looking at his videos I have him starting over TC as of right now and I'm a HUGE TC fan. Plays with the swagger and toughness I like. I don't see him being timid around other players on his level.
I'm lost, you're a huge TC fan, but in a later post you run him down because he couldn't take Gyun's starting job?

Well you just did. Ive tried to ignore it, I really have. I just cant stand it. Your posts are full of so much bullshit that I have to call you out on it. As long as you post things that are untrue, detached from reality, conjecture passed as fact, reactionary, uninformed, or just plain drivel I will call you out on it. Not all opinions are equal. There are a lot of people on this site that have different valid opinions about the coach, the players, and the program. You are not one of them. You have said maybe one or two intelligent things since you have been a poster. The rest has been garbage. You live in the "I would trade Sean Marshall for Giancarlo Stanton" world. It sounds like people just get frustrated sometimes with how you pose your questions and comments.
Quick example, the Gary Clark thing. You pissed people off by calling him lazy like Yancy after watching All Star game footage...the topic of Gary Clarks motor could be a good one to discuss imo, but the way you pose the topic gives you less credibility.
Instead, had you just said...I know it's been an issue earlier in his career and I saw it in this video, what do we need to do to make sure we get the most out of Clark effort wise?...that whole thing could be avoided. I like to think people put time and thought into a post rather than just impulsively typing half sentence reactions to anything and everything.

Are recruits the only one's who read boards? Would current players or their families read boards? If so, is calling Guyn the #285 PG in college basketball pumping him up? Saying that TC should have beaten Gyun for the starting position last year, and you wouldn't give him the keys to the car pumping him up? These are the players who are actually on the team. BTW, there isn't enough room on here to post all the idiotic things you have posted. The level of intelligent discourse on here is an all time low. And your posts are the primary reason for it.

You assumed he had good grades. You didnt actually look it up. Someone else did that for you. You called Gary Clark lazy earlier this week and said a Juco with no high major offers that got kicked off of his team his freshmen year is ready to take TC's job. You have done a player "evaluation" based off of highlight reels. That's not an evaluation. So you have decided that a top 100 player is lazy and a juco guard that no one wants besides us at this point is "special". Not hard to see why everyone thinks you are full of shit. I'll stop arguing with you because I know everyone else doesnt want to see it anymore. I apologize to everyone that had to read my rants on this guy. I promise I'll stop and stay on topic. Just had to get this off my chest one last time.

A huge reason forums are popular is for debate. So when you post things way out of left field, which we've all seen plenty of from you, you are going to get a lot of people asking you how you came up with that, or why you believe that. It's called conversing.
You guys know it all from experts. So when are we going to sign somebody? Is Chad still around or did y'all run him away? If Cobb does commit, I see him next year as a guy with a few random double digit games where he comes in and knocks down a few. But I would bet that there would also be games where he doesn't play at all.

From a shooting perspective, he reminds me of Tony Bobbitt. Juco that's known for lighting it up from downtown. Don't want to set the bar too high, but I'd love for him to have a similar impact.
