Never said under 6 foot, that was someone else. Just saying there aren't lots of oversized pg's (6'5,6'6,etc.). Plus, the NBA is garbage and they don't play any real basketball until the playoffs, and even that is fake. But anyways, I hope this kid we are recruiting is good, we really need a good pg. Cash was very solid for all that he went through, but we need an actual distributor.

Wow....... no words for this absolute garbage

Be real, there is more defense in a pickup game. They are all spoiled, big-headed brats. There is nothing team about it. This could be said for all professional sports, but more so for basketball, which encourages this behavior.

I'll give you this..they could play better team defense. Few problems with defensive pressure in the NBA..
1. Players can destroy players one on one because of the freak athletes and shooting ability.
2. If you double, you leave guys like Ray Allen open for a three=almost automatic.
3. The extended three point line makes it tough to stay right on guys because the floor spacing.
4. If teams pressure "great" players they literally put them at the free throw line 20 times.

Whole different game but it doesn't make it a horrible game.

I know Im in the minority, but I like college b-ball much more. I like the defense, I like the tourney, it is one of the best times of year in all of sports, and I like the team aspect. Clearly, the players in the NBA are very skilled, but I just don't care for the overall setup, but then again, I am somewhat of a purist.

Todays nba is nothing like the 80s through early 90s nba! The game was way more physical and their were rivalries so nobody liked each other at all. To many rule changes for more offense and less physical style of play took away the game.

I agree. I'll turn on an NBA game here and there and I really can't stand it. They just don't play as hard or competitively like they did 20+ years ago.

I'll take the 80's and 90's over today's mediocre NBA.

If you guys lived in a NBA town you would change your thoughts, it's not the defense of game it was 20 years ago but they definitely play hard!!

Teams from the 80's and 90's would get murdered by the guys now(besides MJ). Not even close. These guys are physically superior. They would get crushed on the boards.

You're too young to have seen the 80's or 90's. You have no clue what you're talking about.

Players in the 80's probably had IQ's 100 points higher than today's NBA players. :D

So Sidy is an african national whos only been in the game for a few years and people compare him to Nyarsuk and Biggie, while Pope is a 6'6" PG and people compare him to NBA points...lol it is the offseason

Looked on his twitter account and/or for articles, and we have not been mentioned in a while. Don't know if anybody else has heard or seen anything on him, but it seems as if he is off the list. He did change his twitter handle, FYI, to @AustinPope_3.

I'm hearing he likes Saint Louis a lot and if they offer him he would most likely commit.
