'14 KY PG Quentin Snider

Hard to get a good read on Snider. I'd imagine playing a couple hours from home wouldn't be a bad thing.

Terrell is visiting next weekend with Moore

I know that now, but I didn't know that when I was posting. We are at least getting the talent to visit, so that is definitely a positive. Tough to get players to think about committing to your program when they don't visit you.

@Corey_Rivals513: 2014 Louisville Ballard (KY) PG Quentin Snider is down to Cincinnati, Illinois, Michigan St, Oklahoma St, UConn & USC. Also visiting UCLA this weekend.

This would be a big get. I think he is Mick's top guard priority at this point. It will come down to how close he wants to stay to home IMO.

Like I said before him and his father have said they prefer to stay close to home and we are the closest. IMO final 4 for Snider will be Illinois, Michigan State, Cincinnati, Uconn.

You're right, if he wants to stay close to home, we are in good shape. Illinois is the only other school pretty close and its about 4 hours.

From UCLA's Rivals site:

-Quentin Snider - Snider opened up his recruitment after being committed to Louisville for nearly two years a few weeks ago, and the Bruins staff reached out to him shortly after. After not taking four-star Josh Perkins, Snider now becomes the No. 1 PG on the UCLA board. He also has Cincinnati, Illinois, Michigan State, Oklahoma State, UConn and USC on his short list. Some people close to his recruitment feel Cincinnati and Michigan State are the biggest threats to UCLA.

Tyler Ulis' visit to Iowa 'went well,' his dad tells @SNYtv. Will visit MSU and UK next

This kid going to MSU would be very good for the Bearcats pursuit of Quentin Snider. Lock Ulis down Izzo!

After taking a weekend visit to UCLA, Park Tudor (Ind.) wing Trevon Bluiett has committed to the Bruins, according to ESPN.com.

“I loved the campus and Coach [Steve] Alford and his staff made me feel welcome and comfortable as soon as I stepped on campus,” Bluiett told ESPN.com.

The 6-foot-5, 185-pound wing who averaged 27.8 points last season also considered Arizona, Butler, Indiana, Michigan, Purdue and Xavier.

UCLA assistant Ed Schilling coached him at Park Tudor before joining Alford’s staff.

UCLA also hosted Louisville decommit Quentin Snider this weekend, and Bluiett is already recruiting Snider hard.

“He’s just texting him, saying, ‘You’re next,’” Scott Snider, Quentin’s father, told SNY.tv.

As for Quentin’s visit to UCLA, “He liked the campus, the staff and the fact that Coach Alford and Ed Schilling can help develop him further,” his dad said. “They will use him to push the ball, lots of ball screens and freedom to be creative and make decisions in the offense.”

Next up for Snider is a visit to Michigan State Sept. 14.
