They have never said they want to be a package deal. It's always been more along the lines of, "if it happens great but we both have to do what's best for us"

I can definitely see a package deal, but if we can get Terrell to visit, I think our odds increase significantly. Remember, Mick has recruited him very hard, so it is definitely not over yet. Lots of people announce together and pick different schools, you just never know with how crazy recruiting is.
 
I dont think they will be going to Providence they still have good guards from last year and they just got Lindsey there is to many good players and not enough playing time at Providence. IMO Abu will going to Florida and Terrell will be going to Cincinnati
 
Klein says after visiting Providence yesterday, Abu is now visiting NC State. Let's hope it goes well.

I'd be happy with Abu going anywhere but Providence, but NC State would be perfect to take them out of the Gary Clark sweepstakes (at least I'd imagine).

Some kids like going thru the whole process, and others like to get it all over with so they can concentrate on their senior season. I have been of the opinion for a long time they will play at different schools and I think UC has a legit shot at landing Terrell. We'll see how it plays out over the next month or so.

Terrell was quoted in an article saying he will visit all remaining 4 schools before making a choice but a lot of kids say that and then go on a visit and like a school so much they commit there so who know what's going to happen with Terrell but we do know he did not commit after the Providence visit so must not have been that great.

Unless lightening strikes he will not commit before mid-September or October imo.

Let's hope UC has the last visit. I really think he could leave here having committed to Mick and the Cats if he comes here last. I expect Mick to have 3 players (at least) sign during the early signing period. The JUCO, Moore, and Terrell would be outstanding. If Mick gets this, you might see him pocket that last scholarship until the spring unless he gets the guy he wants. Would be a nice situation to be in.

Abdul Malik Abu is on the move again. Florida was the unofficial visit today.

Obviously know this isnt Terrell but since they are so tied together keeping an eye on Abu may tell us a little bit.

Agreed. Since Terrell has been quiet since cutting it to 4, I consider Abu updates the closest thing to Terrell updates currently.
 
I personally think Abu ends up in Florida and I think UC has a real shot at Terrell. But to be honest I have an uneasiness about it. Northeast players are similar to southern players. They seem to have an affinity and loyalty to schools in the area they grew up in.

Jeff, I think your right but I am encouraged by Mick and staff history with getting kids from that area. Sarvino has been great pulling kids from that area.
 
Florida got eliminated from 5 star forward LeRon Black yesterday so I'd imagine they'll turn up the heat on Abu.
