Per doing a little Twitter searching, it looks like there are some eligibility questions with Thon Maker. Would be big for UK to land him, increasing our odds on Izundu.

Man, this kid is really exploring his options in a short period of time. Didn't he say something about planning to have committed somewhere by May 16, though?

Lance Stephenson committed to UC in July of 2009, so I believe there are circumstances that can allow you to wait.

Didn't that coach say he wanted Izundu to play for an NCAA tournament team? Seems to me like we're at a higher level than any of these teams.

McCain said Izundu plans to pick between the five schools he visited. The target date for his announcement is May 15.

Anybody know how many scholarships Tennessee has left after getting Kasongo to commit? Thought I saw only one, but not sure if that's right. They had another big visit this past weekend in Kyle Alexander. Guessing he may be a backup option for them if they don't land Izundu, but may be interesting to watch his recruitment as well to see what Tennessee does there. Think Tennessee is still the biggest competition for Izundu, but it's kind of strange how his high school coach has been talking about them recently--almost like downplaying them to a degree, or at least consistently putting down the notion that they're the favorite.
