saw in his twitter feed during the ncaa tourney, he said he has to play in march next year. I don't know if Creighton could make that leap next year but I think we have a high percentage chance of making it(no predictions after this past year)

That has to put us at least a little higher on his list hopefully.

NCAA Tournament and a run in it is a must my last two years! Can't be a feeling better then playing in this tournament, kills me to watch ..

Creighton's team is relatively young. However, their top 4 scorers from this past year are a senior and three junior's. Doesn't bode well for when Broome would be able to play.

Also, they only have one recruit currently coming in. If Broome really wants an NCAA team along with playing team, I don't see how he leaves Clifton tomorrow seriously still considering Creighton. We can offer both right when be comes eligible.

Marcus Foster becomes eligible this upcoming year. He'll have 2 years left.

Foster is a PG. Broome is a PG. They'd both be playing in the 2017-2018 season correct? Unless Foster is off the ball more, I don't see why Broome would want a competition for a starting job at Creighton as opposed to seemingly taking over for Caupain.

Foster is not now, nor will he ever be a PG.

I don't know anything about this guy, but he's listed as a PG:

He is a 6'3 shooting guard that averaged over 15ppg as a frosh in the Big 12. He is dropped off a little as a sophomore and then was dismissed from the team. He picked Kansas St over Creighton out of high school so that is where he transferred. If the Jays were to add Broome they would have a backcourt that scored a lot of points but I am not sure how good they would be. If Broome wants to make the tourney his best bet is to come to Cincinnati.

An advantage for Creighton is the Big East, if Broome feels a pull toward playing lots of games in the Northeast.

I agree whole-heartedly AZ. Just seems like you never know with kids what their thought process is or what might or might not be important to them. He DID tweet about wanting to make the tournament twice, right? Creighton isn't exactly that destination spot and McDermott's kid isn't getting a 5th and 6th year of eligibility.

or 7th. LOL

Just hoping that he wants to go to a public school. It seems 2 out of the 4 schools he listed were catholic schools and he is leaving a catholic school and the big east is like catholic school mecca.

He probably isn't catholic but those things could have played into it
