Yeah I'm not saying it will be easy, but as it's been stated before, we will be a favorite in probably every game the rest of the season. 17-3 in favored games isn't that difficult when you think about it that way. I just think this team has it in them this year. Time will tell, but I'm confident in 26-5, even a game or two better if things go right.

There's an old adage in gambling that if you pick 75% winners, the spread becomes irrelevant and you'll make money. That includes even the biggest spreads. I think that suggests that the favorite doesn't win 3 out of 4 games. So for us to win 85%+, when you figure that despite being the favorite, it will rarely be by double digits, seems extremely difficult to me.

Funny I've noticed a big change in the confidence of out depth. That was our biggest concern to start the year, now no complaints. More about getting our starters going at this point, which isn't a bad thing

Im still not sold on the depth. in the 3 games against good teams our bench has provided 4pts, 2pts and 4pts. These guys are producing against the cupcakes but not against actual D-1 competition. I want to see how they do against Temple/UConn/SMU/UH/XU before I make a decision on how good the depth is.

Coach Cronin has to believe in them enough to let them play extended minutes.

We will have to use the bench to get anything from them.

we'll see if he keeps going to the bench when conference play starts. Hopefully Cronin doesn't go back to rock fight ball just because the non-conf games are done.

I wouldn't mind seeing about 10 minutes from Scott and 5 from Brooks. Maybe 15 from Jenifer and 20 from Cumberland when conference starts. I doubt this happens but it would be nice to see.

Washington, Clark, Troy, Evans...30 minutes.

kJ...25
Cumberland...20
Jenifer...15
Scott...10
Brooks and Moore...5

What's your prediction? Unless you are willing to put yourself out there in a similar fashion, you have no room to mock anyone.

It's obvious that I expect the record to be measurably better than spinal's prediction. That is my prediction and therefore I am putting myself out there. Do you write everyone's prediction down? Is this why you need to know my number? And I'm not really going to come back in March just to say Spinal was wrong. Gimme a brake, Jake. Cut me some slack, Jac.

Lol no I don't write everyone's prediction down. It sounded to me like you did. Slack granted.

No matter how you slice it, it's a good thing that so many of us are heading into the conference slate with high expectations still intact.

My over under would be 26-5 give or take one game.

After reading everyone's thoughts I am moving the over under to 25-6...lol! Some predict as many as 6-7 more losses. Some as little as 2-3. I will split the difference at 4. Fair prediction?

Last year Jenifer got decent minutes during the non conference games but his minutes were cut to nothing once conference games started. think he had 4 games over 10min once conference play started and a few DNP games.

Here are my predictions

vs Marshall Win Will be a good game to show if our 3pt defense has improved
at Temple Win A win at Armes has given this team confidence, no way Temple out toughs us
vs Tulane Win Easy Peasy
at Houston Loss Going with a loss here, if anything for the betterment of the conference
vs SMU Win Their depth and lack of PG play hurt them in Cincy
at ECU Win Easy Peasy
vs Temple Win Repayment for them sweeping us
at Tulane Win Easy Peasy
vs Xavier Loss Going with a loss, I think we are the better team right now, but repeat Phone break and Domestic violence aficionado, Myles Davis is back and until we prove we can beat them, I can't pick this game.
vs USF Win We will but McMurray has a big game
at Tulsa Win Not good and we will by 10-15
vs Uconn win No way they beat us at home
vs UCF Win Win but this wont be easy if we cant stop the "big meat" tacko Fall
at SMU Loss Moody is tough
at USF Win Win Win Win
vs Tulsa Win 20 point victory
vs Memphis Win Our bigs put in work and beat these guys. Dedric is unstoppable tho
at UCF Win A tough close one possession game that we wn
vs Houston Win We win this but its close, they have good offense
at Uconn Loss We lose... Maybe. The only reason we lose is because they are at home. we out talent them

25-6

I think I would call that a successful season and it should be enough to win the conference.

Best case 27-4....worst case 22-9. Optimistic split at 25-6... pessimistic split at 24-7.

If we lost to Uconn this year at all, regardless of past games, that will be very embarrasing. Uconn is god awful this year. They have no depth and besides Adams, they have noone to score. Brimah is trash

I think McMurray announced he's transferring.

I think this is a very solid prediction!

Last year Jenifer and this year are noticeably different. With Troy struggling...there isn't much reason for him not to get 10 minutes per conference game minimum.

Interesting stat. Troy's PER is slightly higher than years past. kJ is roughly the same as past 3 years. If they improve from 3...we should be OK.

Really think our best basketball is in front of us. If we revert to the norm from 3 point line and pick it up from foul line we will be a tough team. We are the best team in our conference.
