I'm more worried about UC winning out....the top 4 teams behind us & SMU are who we play to finish out the year. Any losses & it won't matter what the others do - there can be no let down against any of these teams

It's not going to be easy. Tonight will probably be the easiest opportunity of the remaining games so we need to take care of Memphis. Houston is on the bubble so they will be fighting hard. The other two being the last home game for each school (on senior night?) against a ranked opponent.

We will need to be super focused to win out! Our D will travel but we will need to open things up a bit on offense on the road if we want to take full advantage of our superiority in talent.

Not sure if I'll be able to watch Sundays matchup against UCF. That has the makings to be brutal to watch for UC fans. Road game, at UCF, their senior day, on CBSSN...wooof.

Every UConn fan I've seen says he doesn't argue with the refs enough to get calls. I don't get it.

There was a beat writer from some UCONN blog last night defending Ollie and saying how Cronin is 100X worst when it comes to complaining about refs and to refs. Which is fine, whatever.

But, how many times has Kevin Ollie been 5 feet out onto the court during play yelling and screaming and such? Idk I feel like Ollie is always making that dumb face complaining about something.

I remember a game against UC (I'll see if I can find the picture) where Ollie was so far out on the court he was practically standing in front of a UC player while the game was in progress!

That's hilarious. I don't think I've ever seen Ollie *not* arguing with the refs. Every call, every timeout, every freaking time he's on camera.

Maybe they're referring to the fact that Ollie always seems to be whining or pouting like a mistreated puppy, where most NCAA coaches are angrily screaming four letter descriptions of the bad call and look like they're ready to rush the floor to get some.

I tried googling it for a picture, haven't found one yet. Glad someone else notices it. He does it more than any coach I've seen.

The funny thing is I have watched Cronin in heated conversations with refs dropping F bombs etc (all the time). I saw Frank Haith get a T in our game without near as much animation. It was like he was whispering something. Must have been some serious "your momma" comments in that exchange to get T-d up...lol!

Lol I think the same thing. Sometimes I think Cronin gets away with quite a bit but mainly because Mick usually has valid gripes and the refs know they messed up. The AAC refs suck, really bad. Coach is essentially coaching the refs teaching them about the game as it goes on. :D

I still go back and watch this bad boy. Instant classic.

I thought the same thing. Seemed a very weak T. He must've uttered something very personal and quietly cause he wasn't showing the ref up or in his face or yelling. But he didn't argue the T either

SMU is looking very good at UConn. Shake Milton is on fire! 5 3's already.

Off Topic a little - but I hate when both teams wear Gray Uni's. (Light Gray & Dark Gray). I still prefer the white uni's vs. the color uni's.

Id like to root for uconn so we can win the league, but uconn's fans are so annoying I'd rather just SMU kill them
