I hate SMU and the arrogance that spews off them. They haven't proved anything, especially in March, and they can thank their beloved ex coach Larry Brown. Today's game is the first time I've seen the refs do a good job of calling all the fouls SMU really commits.

Least UCONN and their fans have a right to be annoying and or cocky.

I hope that game goes to 10 OTs.

If we just assume smu wins, then at minimum, if Adams is out the rest of the regular season, then we can lessen our chances of a terrible Loss to uconn on senior night .

Uconn should be damned good next year. Losing purvis and brimah is addition by subtraction.

Adams, vital, Jackson, is gonna be a great core for them. Then terry larrier, and Gilbert. Plus they always add a high rated freshman

They've finished 4th, 6th, and 5th the last 3 years. I'm not confident in them having a great regular season. Now the postseason is a different story.

I don't find them arrogant at all. I rarely see them even talk. They have 6 guys and play hard every game. Hard for me to hate that. I swear moore and brown have been there for 10 years

when was the last time they had a good regular season? Their postseason success is unreal but they haven't had a good regular season in awhile. Even the kemba year, I think they finished below Uc inthe regular season

Exactly. Part of the reason they get so much national respect. Not to mention, they own UC when it comes to Marchave matchup. Reminds me of the Steelers owning the Bengals come post season.

Speaking of NFL references, anyone think if we go out in the first weekend of the Tourney, UC will be the Bengals of college basketball?

Don't know if you were around in the late 90s, but that's exactly what Uc was. 1 and 2 seeds most years and lost every first weekend. Don't think we are to that point yet with this version. The last couple tourney teams we have had have not been good

We probably won't win the league now. Will we win anything else? Or will Caupain be content to go out with a whimper in a first to 50 rock fight?

Well UCF won and Memphis is losing...so IF SMU does lose again, we could be in good shape. Doubt SMU loses though.

SMU is 22-1 since November! Geezus! I am kinda glad we were able to get one win out of them. ISU and Butler playing pretty well. Not bad splitting those 4 games with 3 on the road. Two top 15 teams and one top 25.

If we can run the table and Houston sneaks into RPI top 50...We will pick up some very good stuff for the committee. Another top 15 and two to 3 more top 50s if we play Houston and SMU in the tourney.

Of course we just stunk up the place against UCF so definitely not counting on it.

Watching college basketball this afternoon Ky,Florida and Villanova I came away thinking UC can play with a lot of those teams. Also watching SMU and my opinion is they are very good. People can point out that they don't have much depth or a true point guard but they are long athletic and are good on both ends of the court. Much like us. We have weaknesses but we are dangerous. Really will be a interesting end to the session.
