Did anybody hear Roy Williams' halftime comments when asked about giving up 42 points? He said he doesn't care how many points they give up, as long as they hold their opponent to a low percentage. They're an up tempo team. Giving up 42 points happens. I wish Mick saw it this way.

The top 2 teams in kenpom are 285th and 350th in adjusted tempo. Yet they are both extremely efficient on offense and defense. Both have adjust D efficiency in top 7 and adjusted O efficiency in the top 14.

We are 12th on D and 86th on O. At our tempo we have to be better with offensive efficiency if we want to make a splash the rest of the season.

The point is, in terms of winning and losing, efficiency on both ends is what's important at any tempo.

The best Defensive efficient teams typically are some of the slowest Tempo teams in the country.

Here is the Kenpom top 15 Defenses.

Only 1 school out of 15 has a top 100 Tempo ranking.

Now sort based on AdjT. The schools in the top 100 for tempo are not noteworthy teams in the slightest. They aren't good teams. The only ones of note that I see are UNC, USC, and Xavier. I'm not begging to be one of the fastest teams in the country. I'm just asking to be be somewhere from 100-200. The fastest teams in the country are not good teams, that's why they don't have a good AdjD.

There is Twitter talk saying officials of the American are close to having the conference tourney back at the XL Center for 2017....what the hell is wrong with this conference?!

Is it just me or does it seem like the home team is winning a lot more than usual this year during conference play? I know Minnesota hasn't locked it up yet, but they really have no business having a lead on Maryland.

Monmouth probably lost their at-large bid last night with a loss to Iona at home. Since the conference tournament is on Siena's home court, there was a shot at 2 bids for the MAAC. Helps bubble teams that they lost.

St bonaventure up on Dayton right now if they didn't lose to la salle this week they would be first four out material, losing to la salle is about as bad of a loss as you can get though

Bobby Hield out scored Huggs entire starting five 29-23 in Morgantown. There will be some guys throwing up at that practice tomorrow if he waits until tomorrow.

Lsu is getting beat pretty bad at Tennessee right now, that would probably put them in the last four in depending on how badly they end up losing
