Sad to say but he'll still make the NBA. If they keep tolerating JR Smith's antics among others, he'll get accepted too. Look at the NFL and players like Burfict and Suh and many others. If the kid can ball he'll get a paycheck. He's just a spoiled little pampered princess. If there's anybody I respect in college ball it's coach K. I hate Duke, but coach K is the greatest, so I'm very curious what happens here. My guess is he'll be back at some point and probably should. I mean, is it dirty? Yes. Bush league? Yes. But at the end of the day we are a flawed society and nobody is perfect. He'll get some anger management courses that hopefully he takes to heart and he'll get some humility, but what he's doing doesn't justify him losing his ability to make a living. I just find it weird that tripping people is his thing. Most people throw punches or elbows or kicks, this guy wants to trip you. The temper tantrum was out of line and honestly kind of amusing, but it's just a player losing his cool. I've had little panic attacks before, never on national TV, but it's just an emotional episode. The kid needs help and I hope he gets it. But yeah, his actions are unacceptable and when he comes back the refs will watch him and other players will bait him. It will be an uphill battle for him and I'm guessing coach K won't tolerate another incident once he's let back in.
